ティカール遺跡 Tikal Trip

1/21今日は謎のティカール遺跡を訪問。フローレスの街からはミニバスで約１時間２０分。前のトラックは子供たちが後ろに立ち乗りしてるー！グアテマラでは３歳ぐらいの子供をスクーターの後ろに乗せてヘルメットなしでっていう姿は普通。到着手前でガイドと落ち合い、（ガイド付きでないミニバスのみのチケットだったけど、無料で１時間ガイドが付いていた）Q１５０(約＄２０）ティカール遺跡の入場料を渡す。地図はQ10で売りに来る。マヤカレンダーはそういえば今年２０１２年で終わってる。そんな年に訪れるとは、私たち、マヤによばれていたのかしらーーー！ティカールはグアテマラの北部でメキシコやベリーズに近いので、中米を旅している人はメキシコ、ベリーズ、そしてグアテマラのここティカールを訪れ、南のハンドゥーラスに抜けるという旅程を組む人も多いようだ。1/21 Tikal trip! We took minibus to Tikal. It did not includ a tour guide but there is a 1 hour free tour with a guide! It was about 1h20min from Flores up to Tikal. Look! Kids are in the back of the truck. Guatemalans put their little kids on the back of their motorcycles without helmets and in the back of their trucks with no worries! It's very wild sometimes! Tikal entrance fee Q150 about $20.By the way I heard that the Maya calender ends in 2012!
まずは遺跡までのジャングルの散策道。この木はセイバというグアテマラの国の木に指定されている面白い形の木だ。We were walking in the trail in the jungle. This tree is Ceiba that is National tree of Gualemara!
これはシロアリの巣。大事なたんぱく質源といってガイドさんは私たちの目の前で食べて見せた。う、、、ちょっと怖い、、、。シロアリって悪いイメージしかないけど、ジャングルの中でのサバイバルライフには欠かせないのねー。The tour guide ate a Turmite in front of us!!! He said that Turmites are a very good protein sauce for the Maya people in Jungle. They don't pack lunch just grub some tortillas and find something to eat in the jungle! Clovis doesn't believe him, says that just a tour guide myth.

ティカール遺跡はとっても広いので、特に重要な遺跡を１時間でガイドさんが簡単に説明してくれる。フィンはクッキーさえあげればこうしておとなしく座って待っていてくれる。During the tour, as long as Finn had a cookie to hold onto, he was just wondering around or sat down and munched on his cookies.
さ、ダディーについて探検探検！フィンはいつもママがそばにいるかこうして確認しながら歩く。Follow daddy!!! He always check if his mom is near him like this!
うわーーーでかい！以前はこのテンプルにも登れたらしいけど、誰かが落ちてから登るのは禁止になったとか。Someone fell off from the temple, since then we are not arrowed to climb up this temple.


さ、メインのグランドプラザにやってきました！Gland Plaza!
うわぉーーーーティカール遺跡はまだまだ土の中に眠っているのが８０％も。日本がスポンサーして掘り起こすはずだった遺跡で昨年の震災、津波のためキャンセルとなったものもあり。まだまだ謎のマヤ文明です。わかっていることはほんのわずか。何せ紀元前７００年ぐらいに作られたこの都市。グアテマラは近年まで国内の戦争が起こっていたので、観光分野を広めだしたのはつい最近。Wow-------- ! 80% of the buildings are still underground. One of the temples was supposed to be dug this year. it was sponsored by Japan but because of the big earthquake, it got canceled. Most of the Mayan history is still unknown. Mayan settled in this area around BC700!! maya tourist industry is still quite new in Guatemala.

ジャングル内ではひたすらHowlerモンキーの声が！ぐわぁーーーーーーーという恐竜みたいな声です！We were hearing Howler monkey's constantly! It sounds like a dinosaurs! Can you hear it?!
テンプルⅥ約６５Ｍ。木造の階段がテンプルのわきに設置されているので登ることができます。フィンを抱えての登りはクロービス、、、きつかったやろな、、、。ジャングルの中から数か所テンプルがひょっこり頭を出している姿を見渡す事が出来ます。ここから日の出を見るというのは観光の定番。さすがにフィンもいるし、私たちはお昼にゆっくりと。前日午後３時から翌日の閉鎖時間まで同じチケットが使えるので、サンセット、サンライズを目的の人は遺跡近くのホテルに泊まる人が多い。カンボジアのアンコールワットもそういえばそのパターンだったなー。Temple Ⅵis around 65m. There is a wooden stare to climb up to the lookout. Wow it's amazing!! People come here to see the sunrise. It will be beautiful! You can use the same ticket from 3 PM until closing day of the following day so that you can see sunset and sunrise too. In that case, you want to stay near Tikal!
さ、一通り重要な遺跡を巡り、３時のミニバスでフローレスへ。満席だったので、バスの床に座ることに。またまた妊婦、フィン連れの私にイタリア人のやさしいお母さんが席を譲ってくれた。ありがとう、、、。窓からはポッサムらしき動物がえさを食べている姿や、馬、牛、鶏が見えたので、フィンはずーっとコケッコッコー、ムーーーーー、うーまーーーひひひーーーんと連発。もちろんトラックが通る度にトゥラーーーーーーーックとさらに大きな声になっていた。予想以上にフィンは旅をエンジョイしています！Wow possums?! Finn really enjoyed the animals in the jungle and also from the minibus such as cows, horses and roosters!
フローレスの街のサンセットを見て、Sunset time in Flores!
夕食を町のレストランに。トルティーヤをちょうど焼いていたお店にひかれてここに決定！The woman was making tortillas! We decided to have dinner here!
グアテマラの独占ビールカンパニーGallo　のTシャツもゲット(Q45)！にわとり大好きなフィンはあらゆるところにこのにわとりの看板があるので大喜び。Clovis got a Gallo T shirts(Q45)!
わーーお野菜と肉がスペシャルソースで炒められたものがコーントルティーヤにてんこ盛り。Q35（約$4.3) Vegetables and meat stair fry with special sauce on tortillas! Q35
ビーフステーキ炭火焼とゆで野菜、ビーンズ、ライス、ワカモーレがついてQ40(約＄５）かなり行けてました。こんなにお野菜とれるの、グアテマラで珍しーーーーー！さ、今日もぐっすり！Grilled beef with cooked vegetable, rice, beans, guacamoleQ40 was sooooo good! I was so happy to have lots of vegetables too! (It was hard to find vegetables here in Guatemala) It was another nice day trip!
