ファミリータイム Family time in Keys!

 4/19－4/24 今回のメインはマーガレットおばあちゃんの９０歳のバースデーパーティー。何日かに渡ってお祝いします。We were in Florida Keys for a week. The main event for this trip was for grandma Siemon;s 90th birthday!
 
まずはフロリダキー諸島の親戚のお家に集まってみんなでグランマを囲んでワイワイ。こういうのって一番うれしいよねー。We visited uncle Carlie's house and spent time with Grandma Siemon.

ひ孫も８人。みんな大集合！Hi I am Tanner I am the youngest great grand son of Grandma Siemon!
 
ベイビーキイより小さいタナご対面。Kii, you are not the youngest any more!

 そんなこんなしてるうちに、お庭にマナティーがあらわれた！Manatee visited us! 

 私達は義兄夫婦と一緒にコンドミニアムにステイ。We stayed at the family condominium with Hawkins' family it was awesome!

 あーしんどー Oh I am tired now!

ココナッツかじかじ　It(coconuts) is so good to my teeth!

いっぱい飲んで We drink a lot!

従妹同士でお風呂 Take a bath together!
 
そして海！　ビーチで遊ぶの大好き！And spent a lot of time on the beach! Oh nice and warm!

満足じゃ！I feel great!

歩いてます！I am walking!

 １１カ月で数歩歩き始めたキイ。その後しばらくは進歩いていなかったのに急にこんなに歩きだいた！Kii started to take some steps when he was 11 month old then he didn't walk by himself so much for a while. But today he just decided to race around our kitchen!!

ぶ～んぶ～んといいながら新幹線を持ちながら車にまたがる。 He loves cars, trucks trains and whatever his brother likes.

 フィンはもうすぐ３歳になるので最近ミルクボトルを禁止にした。結果、指をくわえるようになった、、、。Finn is almost 3 years old so he quite to use a bottle. He puts his fingers in his mouth now,,,, well we will see,,,,

兄弟毎日遊んでおもちゃ取り合いして楽しんでます！They play hard together everyday !

オーガニックバレー火事 Fire damage at Organic Valley

５月１４日、ウィスコンシン州ののどかな小さな町にあるオーガニックバレーのヘッドオフィスが火事。火を消すのに１８時間かかりました。７つの消防署から出動してきてくれた消防隊、ヘリコプター、あらゆる手段でようやく火を消すことができました。原因はまだわからず、、、。屋根にソーラーパネルがあるのでさらに火を消すのが困難だったというなんとも皮肉な事態となりましたが、けが人は１人も出なかったこと、オーガニックバレーのオフィスは火事に覆われてもファーマーたちは全米各地で生産を止めることもなく、コンピューターシステムもすぐに復活させることができたそうです。これもスタッフ、そして地域の人々をはじめとするあらゆるサポートのおかげ。精神的にも非常につらい中、今もなおリカバーに励む人々。この日はワーカー達の家族やファイヤーファイターも招待してピクニックパーティーを開いてくれました。私たちもパーティーに参加してきましたが、なんだかとっても心がじ～んとしちゃいました。どんなことがあってもみんなが一つになって乗り切るということは本当に大切なことだと思います。On May 14, our La Farge headquarters suffered serious fire　damage.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ud2HP0bQpQE&feature=youtu.be
 
アメリカの消防士はほとんどボランティアで成り立っているそうで、多くの消防士さん達が今回も大活躍してくださいました。隊長からのお言葉には、オーガニックバレーはこのコミュニティーにいつも良くしてくれているので恩返しができてとても光栄ですと。人はみんな助け合って生きていくものですね。People's been working so hard and lots of community people supporting them. It is so great to see people work together like this even the fire damage was not only damaged the building but also made people depressed. So they decided to invite all people over to the picnic and we had a great fun together. The fire fighters came too. It is so great to get people together.
 
すぐそばの公園にて２００人前後のビックピクニック。I guess there were around 200 people around!

フィンと一緒にいるジョージは仕事の時と違ってリラックスモード。二人はほんと仲良し。フィン、グランパを癒してあげてねー。Granpa George looks so much more relaxed when he holds Finn. It will take long time to recover but they say they will make it! Milk keeps coming!

新しいミルク。本来そうであるべき草だけで育った牛乳。This is their new product. It's Grassfed cow's milk!

濃厚なクリームがほら！ Cream on top!

 こちらは草で育ったビーフ！ミルク、ビーフのこだわり。さすが酪農王国！And the grassfed beef is so yummy too! Go Organic Valley Go!!

水風船 Water balloons Marge's to Keys!

 あ、ベイビーキイ、気をつけてーーー！それ、水風船！Watch out Baby Kii!!! It's a water balloon!

あちゃ！ われた！Uh oh,,,,

 ははは～～～フロリダの親戚マーギーとデリックのお家にきました！Hehehehe~~~~~~ we were at Marge and Derick's house for two nights!

クリアウォーターの街をトローリーで観光。コンドミニアムが立ち並ぶ人気リゾート。Next day we took a trolly ride and went around the Clear water city!

 連れて行ってもらったレストランで食べたお寿司はアメリカで一番おいしかった！Marge took us fish restaurant! Oh it was supper yummy. honestly it was probably the best sushi in the U.S so far!

 ボーイズ達ぐったり。同じ角度で寝てる。They are very a like each other.

マーギーのお家でクロービスのおじいちゃんの若い時の写真発見。わ、似てるわ。さ、マーギーのところで２泊お世話になったあとは、さらに南のキー諸島へさらに７時間のドライブ。Marge had her dad's picture which is Clovis' grandpa's. Wow he just looks like Clovis! After Marge's, we headed off to the Keys which is 7 hour driving!

やったー着いた！サンセットに間に合ったぞー。We made it! We were in Marathon in Keys.

ここでウィスコンシン組とコロラド組と落ち合い、この先１週間みんなでバケーションです！ George and Jane, Cedarose and Keefe, Hawkins, Chrissy and Ellamae met us here and had dinner together. It began a week of vacation together!

カニだカニだ！Crab!! 5/17 ~5/19

ビーチ！ビッグラグーンBeach! Camping at Big Lagoon

4/14ニューオリンズ(ルイジアナ州）からメキシコ湾沿いを走る。途中ハリケーンカトリーナの災害ボランティアをしたクロービスの思い出の場所ウェイブランドを経由し、ミシシッピ州、アラバマ州そしてカーフェリーにも乗りました。雨がパラパラ。キャンプ、大丈夫かな～。After New Orleans, we drove along the Gulf of Mexico. We took car ferry and finally get into Florida! It started raining we're nearly there! 

今日も長い旅お疲れ様ー。ようやくフロリダ州のＢＩＧ　ＬＡＧＯＯＮのキャンプサイトに到着したのは夜の８時。急いでテントを張って夕飯作り。http://www.floridastateparks.org We arrived at Big Lagoon state park around 8pm. Ranger was just closing the door but we made it! Quickly set up the tent and made dinner. 











さ、朝が来た！今日はドライブなしだぞー！！Next morning, we are not gonna drive today!!!

まずは自転車に挑戦だー！昨年アンティーシダローズにもらったバランスバイク（ペダルなしでこぐ自転車）が乗れるようになりました！I got my bicycle from auntie Cedarose last year and now I can enjoy it! 
 
出発前ぎりぎりに購入したトレーラー。あらら、、、ベイビーキイ、大丈夫かなー。We got this trailer just before we left! So it is our first try! Oh,,,, baby Kii,,,,

自転車でビーチへ到着！ベイビーキイ、こうやって遊ぶんだよー。フィンはいつもキイのお手本です。We made to the beach!! Finn is always good teacher for Kii!

 

そしてたまには１人１人別々の時間を楽しみます。Sometimes boys need their own  time.

 真っ白な砂がとっても印象的。Wow it is so nice!

キャンプサイトに戻ったころにはぐったり。初めはどうなる事やらと思ったけど二人ともとっても楽しんで乗ってくれました。ダディーお疲れ様ー。平らな道でも坂道を上ってるような感じと言ってました。 They were out. Clovis said it is like going up hills all the time. It's good excise!

 

お昼寝から起きたら水浴びして体きれきれ！After their napping, they took a bath together.

 ボーイズ達もサイクリングが気に入って、翌日は違うビーチへ。Following day we did biking again to the different beach.

あ～ビーチって面白い！お砂遊びだーい好き！まだまだ冬のウィスコンシンからビーチへワープした私達。うかつにも日焼け止めクリームの塗り忘れの部分がまっかっか。久しぶりにこのひりひり感味わったわー。Oh we love playing on the beach! Our arms and Clovis' neck turned so RED!!! We went to CVS to get some after-sun-lotion and big sun hat for Clovis.
