Happy Birthday Finn!

Happy Birthday Finn! He waited for his birthday for loooong time. Every time when we had someone's birthday he always asked ' WHY it's not my birthday'!!! But Finally it's yours!!
 Daddy always makes pancake for our birthday morning. Finn requested heart shaped ones!待ちに待ったフィンの誕生日！他の人の誕生日を迎えるごとに”なんでぼくのじゃないの？！”と。ダディーは家族のバースデーの朝食にパンケーキを作ります。フィンはハート形をリクエスト。
 
He also requested to have his birthday party at his grandparent's farm and of course HOT DOG without any vegetable in it! (I usually sneak some veges in)  そしてパーティーはファームでやってーと。そしてホットドック。野菜なしケチャップだけをリクエスト。誕生日以外にはそんなのあり得ません！（フィンは特に野菜嫌いなので好きなものと一緒に食べさせないと食べません。

Cake time!  Took me while to think about this cake but it turned out all right!ケーキタイム！ケーキ、どんなのにしようかと考えてたら眠れなかったなー。でも、なんとか様になった！

This is how he imagines for his birthday. Train cake, funny pointy hats, bubbles!  これぞ４歳のフィンがイメージする誕生日。電車のケーキにとんがり帽子、シャボン玉。

He looked so happy so I am happy too! あ～幸せ！

 Lot's of presents! Thanks for all who sent him the gifts and birthday wishes! プレゼントもたっくさん！パーティーに来てくれたみんな、遠くからお祝いしてくれたみんな、ありがとーーー！！

 
WHY it's not my birthday?! なんでぼくの誕生日ちゃうの！？
 
Since Kii got a mower for his birthday, Finn requested the same one but PINK for him! Well Pink can be boy's color too right?!　２カ月ほど前のキイの誕生日に芝刈り機のおもちゃをあげたら、毎日取り合い。フィンも同じのをリクエスト。しかし、ピンクを！！！

Actually purple is his favorite color.  フィンの一番好きな色はむらさき。ま、ピンクも近いっちゃちかいね。

Boys love to play together but fight every five minutes for one toy but over all they are best friends! 二人とも一緒に遊ぶの大好きだけど５分おきにおもちゃの取り合いで喧嘩してその後げらげら笑って。二人はベストフレンドです！４歳にもなればあれこれと自分の好みをリクエストするようになるのね～。この先も成長が楽しみです！

グリーンベイ旅行その１ 遊園地編 Bay Beach Amusement Park in Green Bay

ボーイズたちが大好きな機関車トーマスのイベントがウィスコンシンのグリーンベイで開催されるということで、約５時間もかけてグリーンベイへ行く事に。５時間走ってもまだウィスコンシン。やっぱりアメリカは広いなーーーー。

It was unusual weekend for us. We drove five hours to Green Bay WI for kid's event. Thomas the train is coming to Green Bay! (It's kind of crazy!!)  Well it was near Finn's birthday and I was looking for something for him. Of course we planed to camp out by the great lake since we are going toward that direction but,,,, I got sick,,, so we decided to stay at a Hotel.

さて、グリーンベイの町には初めての私達。そこで見つけたのがここ、ベイビーチ遊園地！ちび達が乗れる乗り物、こんなにある遊園地初めて！しかも１回２５円ほどって！！！But we found such a great amusement park here in Green Bay! http://greenbaywi.gov/baybeach/ There are so many rides that our boys can ride!!! And each ride was only 25 cents!  It was a hit!!!

え～い、ボーイズ！好きなだけ乗りたまえ～～～～！太っ腹！Boys, you may ride as many as you want!!

ぎゃはは　ぎゃははが止まりません！They giggled and giggled and giggled.

うわ～観覧車。むき出しだと結構スリルあるね～。Without flame, it's quite a thrill!

乗り物に慣れてきたボーイズたち、今度は一番のお気に入りの電車に二人だけで乗るって？？！！いってらっしゃーーい！！Now boys want to go without us!!

五大湖の近くまでせっかく行くのでキャンプを予定していたら、私が風邪をひいてしまい、キャンプはキャンセルしホテルへ泊まることに。They enjoyed playing in the swimming the night and morning.

深いところがないプールにスパ付き！ It has spa too!

数ヶ月前、カメラを落としたので新しいカメラを購入。いろいろ迷ったけど今私達に必要なウォータープルーフに落としても壊れないショックプルーフのNIKON COOLPIX。なかなか丈夫です。画像的にはやっぱりソニーのほうが好みかなー。
ピザとスープを宅配オーダーしてプールサイドで。子供達とレストラン行くのって結構エネルギー要るからね。品数豊富な朝食もついてるし、クロービスが、パーフェクトなホテルを探してくれました！夜もなかなか興奮して眠れないボーイズたち。だって明日はトーマスに会いに行くからね！We ordered pizza and had it at the pool side!  Clovis found a perfect hotel for us! Thomas is coming soon boys!

グリーンベイ旅行その２ 機関車トーマス編！Meet with Thomas!

 朝、プールで遊びつかれたボーイズたちが寝てるすきにランチをタイ料理のお店で！We played at the pool until 10 am in the morning then left for the event! While boys were taking a nap, we had nice lunch at Thai restaurant.

いよいよトーマスとご対面！Here Thomas comes!!!!

 電車のミュージアムにて開催されました。 The event was held at the national railroad museum so we got to see many old trains!  http://www.nationalrrmuseum.org/

 いろんなアクティビティーコーナーが設けられていました。They can stay here all day I bet!

 私達の席は二階建ての車両。Double Decker!

 僕も車掌さん！I am a conductor!!! He really want to work on a train especially as an engineer.

帰り道、ボーイズは興奮冷めず。Dancing on the roof?!

フィンはじーじのお墓参りに行って以来、お墓をみるといつも’じ～じ　じ～じ’と叫んでいますが、キイがある日まねをしようと思ったら’ば～ば’と言ってしまった。クロービスも私もば～ば殺すなーーーー！！！って爆笑。それ以来、ボーイズたちはジョークとして言い合ってげらげら笑ってます。Boys were still so excited on the way home.

アーミッシュドーナッツの季節です！

５月から１０月の毎週土曜日にしか買えないアーミッシュドーナッツ。It's Amish doughnuts season! (May - Oct Saturdays)
 
 田舎道を２０キロほど走ったところにアーミッシュのベイカリーがあります。先日行った時には馬を巧みに操って畑を耕すアーミッシュの姿が見られました。この時期はその辺をドライブしているとこんな光景がよく見られます。It's so nice to see them working hard on the field with horses! There are a lot of Amish family living in this area we see them riding a buggy working on the field quite a lot even sometimes at a grocery shop in town.

外で遊ぶのが大好きなボーイズたちはほぼ毎日、ペダルなし自転車とジョンディアトラクターにて町を走り回ってます。 Boys has been enjoying summer! Finn rides balanced bike and Kii rides John deer around town almost everyday!

 町のスケートパークに進出？？！ Skate-park??!! 

ボーイズたちの再会 United boys

 クロービスの昔からのお友達。久々に地元に帰ってきたニックを囲んでみんなも久々の再会。この年になるとなかなかお友達と集まるってのも難しくなるね。It's hard to have some time with our old friends at our life stage but Jason invited us for BBQ with some Clovis' old friends!

 みんな相変わらず元気だ！Back to the old days!

 それぞれの子供たちも一緒に遊べるようになった。And kids were having fun time too!
