1/18 お野菜が恋しく、朝からベジタブルスープを。アボカドが入ってるぞ！味はシンプルな塩味にフレッシュコリアンダー。お野菜はジャガイモ、人参、トマトとGuisquilというウリみたいなお野菜。なかなかいけてる！今日はDulce川をボートトリップＱ２００（約＄２５）。東のカリブ海側の町りリビングストンへ！９時半にホテルにボートが向かいに来て出発。I was missing vegetables so I had a vegetable soup for breacky! Avocado is in the soup wow it is new to me!
１時間半ほどすると川沿いに湧き出る温泉アグアカリエンテに到着。なんと１５分しか時間が無いという、、、。急いで水着に着替えて温泉温泉！冷たい川の水と温泉の熱いお湯が交互に来るって感じなので、ひたすらかき混ぜながら入る。トイレが１個、階段を上ったところに作られているけど、ボートツアーで何人もがいっぺんに到着するとこの１５分間ですべて終えるのはかなりきついので入らない人も多かった。We took a boat trip to Livingston. We stopped at the Agua Cariente that is a hot spring along the Rio Dulce river. (1 hour from Rio Dulce) We had only 15 min!!! Hurry up!! We kind of have to mix the cold water and hot water constantly otherwise it is too hot or too cold.
もう少し進むと川沿いの民家にでる。周りには蓮の花がとってもきれい！Then we passed the local people's house/
途中地元の子供達が数人私達のボートにおみやげ物を船で売りに来る。The kids sells some gift by boat.
このあたりから周りはキャニオン風景になる。白い壁にはたくさんのサインが書かれている。３００年ほど前に海賊たちが書いたものも残っているらしい。It is getting more canyon view. The wall has a lot of signatures some of them are from pirates around 300 years ago!
さ、約２時間でリビングストンに到着する。リビングストン近くにはペリカンがたっくさん！フィンはアヒルと間違えてるみたいで”グーーー”（グースと発音できずいつもグーという）と言いながら大興奮！Wow lots of pelican! Finn was saying "Goo Goo" for Goose he was so excited!
リビングストンの町は歴史上アフリカとカリブ海の文化が混じっているので他のグアテマラの町とは雰囲気も違うところが面白い。Livingston has a unique culture because of its history. Caribbean and African culture mixed together.
そろそろおなかがすいたよー。メインストリートをずっと進んだ左手にAntojitos Gaby2というレストランへ。おばちゃんがスマイルで迎えてくれてとってもフレンドリー。Now let's get some lunch! We went to the restaurant Antojitos Gaby 2. If you keep going on the main street you will see on your left. The ladies will welcome you with their smile!
初めは人が全然いなかったのに、私たちが入ったとたん、地元の人たちで席が満席。ランチセットは肉、魚のチョイスQ25（約＄３）。私たちは鶏肉をチョイス。煮込み料理。ライスは炒めてから塩を少し入れて少々のお野菜と一緒に焚いてるからピラフみたいでとってもおいしい！これが一般的なライスの調理方法。When we sat down there is no other people but in 10 minutes, it's full!! Lunch set menu is always nice to order. We choose Chicken dish which was very yummy. They usually use meat with born so it has a lot of flavor which I like! And I really like their rice. They fry rice before cook and add little bit of salt and vegetable.
リビングストンの食はカリブ海文化が混じっているのでココナッツミルクを使ったり、もちろん海に面しているのでお魚料理なども多い。TAPADOという魚介とお魚のココナッツスープが有名と聞いたのでさっそく注文Q７０（約＄８．５）。ちょっとココナッツミルクの味が強くって他の出汁の味が弱かったので残念。でもおいしかったー。バナナに外見そっくりのプラタノスがスープに入ってた。こうやって使うのかーーー。ちなみにレストランで食べるときはチップを１０％ほどをお忘れなく。その他の食糧は大体ボートで運ばれてくるので、少々高めらしい。ちなみにグアテマラのガソリンはQ36/ギャロン１リットル約110円前後。物価に対してこの値段。高いなー。だって、最低給料が１日Q56約７００円ぐらい、警察官などで月Q３０００約４万弱って聞いたぞーーーーThis is Tapado , which is a famous dish from this area, has fish, seafood and coconuts milk soup. Most foods except fish, seafood and coconuts milk comes by boat so the cost of food is bit more expensive in this town. The gas price here is around Q36 so it is more than the U.S wow.... we heard that minimum pay is around Q56 which is around $7/ DAY!!! The officer like police is around Q3000 little under $400/month,,,
さ、またボートでぶーーーーんとホテルへ戻ってきました！周りが自然でいっぱいなのでかなり快適なホテル。Home!! We are back to the Hotel. We really liked the nature around the Hotel!
夕食食べて明日のアドベンチャーに備えるぞー！Get's some dinner and sleep for more adventure!!
