夜行バスに挑戦！take a Night bus with Finn

1/22さ、今日はいよいよフローレスから夜行バスでアンティグアへ！フィンお初の夜行バスに備えて日中はリラックスタイムを取ろう！トラック、トラクターのおもちゃさえあればレストランで数十分このようにおとなしーく遊んでいてくれるフィン。1/22 We are taking a night bus tonight to San Pedoro via Antigua! We tried to relax as much as possible especially for Finn!! Most of the time he is happy as long as he has a toy truck or bottle of milk. Every time we go to a restaurant, he plays alone like this for a while!


今日は朝からブリートーを注文。ブリートーってアメリカ流のメキシカン料理だと思ってたけど実際存在するのねーー。小麦粉のトルティーヤの中に牛肉、ライス、がソースに絡まって入ってます。トッピングにはクリーム、粉状のチーズ。I had Burritos! I thought it is an American Mexican food but they offer it here in Guatemala too!
グアテマラの人たちはあらゆるところに洗濯ものを干しています。大家族で住んでいることが多いので、毎日洗濯です！Lots of cloths are hanged everywhere everyday in Guatemala! They usually have big families!

クロービスが買ってきたかき氷。何と塩味。お塩、フレッシュレモンにかぼちゃの種の粉がかかってます。お味は、うーーー、珍しい味。でもやっぱり甘いシロップの方がいいかなーーーー宇治金時が食べたくなった！夜８時半に旅行会社の人が迎えに来てバス停まで送ってくれました。バスは９時出発。これからアンティグアへ夜行で移動し、その後サンペドロという町までさらに３時間のミニバス。フィンは意外にも夜中ぐっすり寝てくれました。バスの中は寒かったので私たちの方が寝られなかった、、、。フローレスからアンティグアまでファーストクラス夜行バス＠２６０（約＄３２）約８時間。このバスはかなりモダンできれいだった。Clovis got a ice cone but it was very interesting tasting. It wasn't sweet it was salty!! It had some salt, fresh lemon and powder of squash seed! 8:30 at night the travel agent took us to the bus station. The night bus was about 8 hours. It was a first class bus to Antigua and nice and clean with air conditioning but it was very cold. we didn't expect it to be so extreamly airconditioned so we left our sleeping bags under the bus. we where to cold to sleep but Finn slept all way to Antigua!! グアテマラに来てチーズの国ウィスコンシンからやってきた私たちにとって乳製品があまりゲットできないのがそろそろ限界になってきた。そしてまだおいしいグアテマラコーヒーに出くわしていない。夜行上がりの朝食何としても贅沢したい！ちょうどバスの乗り継ぎで２時間ほどあったので、ベーカリー兼カフェへ。Sabericoというお店www.saberico.com.gt へ。ハーブガーデンがあり、ハーブを使ったベーキング、お料理がメニューに並ぶ！ガーデン内にある好きなテーブルを選べて、緑を見ながらの食事！We arrived Antigua and we had a few hours between the next bus to San Pedoro. We really needed a nice breakfast and we found a perfect cafe called Saberico! They have a nice herb garden and each table has their own space in the garden, so you can pick your favorite site!
たっぷりの手作りパンにモッツァレッラチーズにハーブソーセージ、フルーツサラダ。Q３５（約＄４）I really missed good quality cheese and they had it!! Yummy mozzarella cheese and herb sausage on their home baked bread and fruits salad. Q35(about$4.2)
オーガニックホウレンソウ入りのオムレツ、バナナのソテー、ビーンズとソース、Q４５（約＄５．５）そして手作り雑穀パン。そしてコーヒーQ15（約＄２）も今までの中で一番おいしかった！贅沢な朝食でした！The omelets has some Organic spinach inside. Beans, homemade sauce, banana saute and home baked bread. (Q45) plus they had great coffee with free refills! clovis drank tons, he called his sleep substitute.



次のバスの前にアンティグアのセントラルパークで遊ぶフィン！いい子ちゃんでした！サンペドロではスペイン語学校に１週間通いたかったので、数件学校に連絡し、先生の空き、ホームステイの空きがあったMAYA　DE　CORASONという学校に予約した！今日に今日でアレンジしてくれて助かったーーーさ、サンペドロに着いたらホストファミリーとご対面だーーー！Before we get the next bus Finn enjoyed the central park in Antigua! Of course he didn't want to leave,,,,. Clovis called a couple of Spanish school in San Pedoro. We were bit worried if there is any availability for class and host families. But he found one!! Good job Clovis!! Tonight we will be with the host family!!!
