フローレスへの移動 RIo Dulce to Flores

1/20さ、今日はRio Dulceからティカール文明遺跡のアクセスの町となるFloresへ移動。長距離バスのチケット（Rio Dulce - Flores Q65約＄8)を購入してバスを待っていると1/20 Now we are going to Flores by bus Q65 (about $8).
グアテマラの子供達がフィンと遊んでくれました！グアテマラってほんとファミリー旅行にはもってこい。フィンを見るごとに笑顔で話しかけてくれるし、フィンもアメリカではシャイなのに、グアテマラでは毎日自分から手を振ってすごいフレンドリーなキャラになったのは本と不思議。While we were waiting for the bus, some Guatemalan kids, who were also waiting for the bus, they came over and played with Finn! Guatemala is a perfect country to travel with kids! Finn must have felt something different, cause his personality changed. Usually he is very shy to strangers but he waved to everybody with a smile here in Guatemala!!

さ、いよいよバスが来て乗り込んだ。う？？う？？？なんだこりゃ、長距離バスなのに立ってる人がたくさん。席購入してないのかな？てか、私達の席はどこ？！ま、ま、まさか、、、、、。そうです。席は早い者勝ちで、指定はなし。ひーーーーーー？？？！！！４時間かかる予定なのに、フィンと妊婦の私に耐えられるんかーーーーーーーー、、、、。と思っていると、やさしいジェントルマンがなんと席を譲ってくれました。この人、この先２時間半ぐらいずっと立ちっぱなしだった、、、。申し訳ないな、、、でも席無かったら耐えられなかったと思う、、、。本とありがとうございます。この人がバスを降りるとき、スペイン語の聖書を渡された。私は宗教何も属さない主義だけどこのときばかりは感謝感謝。途中テリトリーが異なるので同じ国の中でも果物チェックがあり、果物を持っている人はそれまでに食べるか捨てるかしなければいけないという。ひーーーこの日に限って大量にオレンジとバナナ持ってた、、、、。急いで食べられるだけ食べて捨てました、、、。先に言ってよーーーー！We got on the bus and looking for our seats. ??!! There were so many people standing and we couldn't find seat number on our tickets. ???!! really??!! Are we going to stand for 4 hours??!! Well it seemed like it,,,,,,, Oh no,,,,, Finn, and me being pregnant,,,, I wasn't sure if I could make it,,,,. a couple of minutes later, a gentleman gave me a seat even he had to stand for 2.5 hours,,,,, Thank you so much,,,,. On the way to Flores, there is a fruits check point. We had a lot of oranges and bananas so we tried to eat as much as possible but we had to throw away the rest of them,,,.
４時間半のこみこみバス。ついにフローレスの手前の町サンタエレナへたどりつき、予約していたフローレスの宿Hospedaje Dona Goyaへタクシーで。バイクタクシートゥクトゥクならＱ５が相場だけど、タクシーのおっちゃんがバス停で待っていて、疲れ果てた私達は宿に早く行きたい思いで、タクシーを利用。Ｑ４０これはかなり高値を言われた。といっても＄５だけどね。ホテルの屋上からの景色！レイクビューのお部屋を予約したので私達のお部屋からの景色も同じような感じ！It seemed like we arrived in Santa Elena which is not too far from Flores. We need to catch a taxi to get to the Hotel we booked. Hospedaje Dona Goya II. If you take Tuk Tuk (mortar cycle taxi) it's around Q5 (around 60 cents) but Taxi was Q40 which is probably tourist price but we were so tired and it was nice and convenient. But still $5! The location of the Hotel was beautiful! This is from the top flour balcony. And our room was lake view which has pretty much the same view as this!
おなかがすいたので何か食べ物をゲットしなければ。町のセントラルパークへ言ってみた。フローレスは丘のような感じになっているので、坂が多い！We were super hungry so we went to the central park to get something to eat.
夕食前だから軽くスナック程度に Let's get some snacky foods!
といいつつしっかり食べた！これでＱ１５（約＄２）ジュース付。Wow it is quite big. Q15 around $2 with a bottle of coke.
夕方は湖沿いのレストランでスムージー、モヒートータイム！西に面しているのでサンセットが見える。湖沿いのレストランは、外国人旅行者の利用が多く、ハッピーアワーでカクテルがＱ１０（約＄１．２）で飲めたりする。旅行会社で明日のティカールまでのミニバス（Ｑ６０約＄７．５）を予約した。There are many restaurants that have a lake view. Most of them have happy hour for drinks. Cocktail are Q10 etc. We had smoothie and Mojito! Then we got our mini bus tickets for Tikal tomorrow!
フィン、飲んだくれか？！　さすがに疲れ果ててぐっすり。Rio Dulceでたくさん虫に刺され心配だったので薬局に行き、ドクターを紹介されたので、訪問。普通のアパートのようなところにオフィスを構えるドクター。診察料Ｑ１５０（約＄２０）その後薬局で処方されたのみ薬を購入。Ｑ１４６（約＄２０）処方された中にはステロイド入りのクリームがあったのでそれは避けたけど、、、薬局の人もやめたほうがいいといってたしステロイドにはいい思いで無いし。こんなんで大丈夫なんかな、、、、。私達もこの日はぐっすり。
Mr. drunk?! Well it was a loooong trip to Flores. And he got lots of bug bites so we went to see a doctor and got some medicine. Doctor Q150, Medicine Q146, we felt little better now. Although, the prescription was including Steroid cream for Finn,,,, well we didn't get it and just got an antihistamine that he drinks.
