アンティグアの町 Antigua

2/4 今日はアンティグアの町でゆっくりするぞーーーー！！まずは朝食！美味しいコーヒーを求めてやってきたのはY Tu Pina Tambien というカフェ。カプチーノはとってもしっかりしたコーヒーの味が出ていて満足！2/4 We found really good cafe in Antigua again! Y Tu Pina Tambien. The Cappuccino was great and Vegetable Panini was my favorite!

おなかもいっぱいになったところで、アンティグアの町散策。Then we went for walk around the City.

アンティグアの町は古い建物なども残っていて、建物によっては、とても素敵なアートがたくさんある。Antigua is an old city and there are many neat arts around here!

そしてアンティグアの見晴らし台へとお散歩することにした。最後の急な坂は、ハイキングコースになっているけど、ベビーカーも持っていたので、トゥクトゥクを利用することに。ドライバーによって値段が違う。（Ｑ２０－Ｑ４０）道のりはほんの５分ほど。見晴らし台へ行く途中、たくさんの子供たちと出くわした。Then we went to look out. We took Tuck Tuck to the top of the hill since we had baby stroller. Q20-Q40 depends of the driver. And one the way to the look out there were many kids.

しばらくゆっくりして、下って行ったらもうおなかがすいて仕方がない！よしここでランチにしよう！レストランはたくさんの種類の煮込み料理とサイドディッシュ。２種類のシチューが選べて２種類のサイドディッシュとトルティーヤがついてＱ７５。（約＄１０）By the time we went back down, we were so hungry... again,,, let's have some lunch!!! The restaurant had lots of different kinds of stew ! We choose 2 kinds of stew and 2 side dishes of course it comes with tortillas! It was good!!Q75 (around$10)

宿に帰って少し休憩し、夕食はフレンチクレープ屋さんに！グアテマラでまさかフレンチクレープを食べるとは！？明日からは少し北上したＣｏｂａｎというところ周辺に行くことにした。また長い移動があるけど、楽しみだなーーーー！本当は行くのを諦めていた場所だったからねーーーー！予定は変わるものだーーーーー！We went back to the hostel and had little nap. We had french crape for dinner! well tomorrow, we decided to go to Coban which we almost gave up to go during this trip but we are going!!! Plan is plan we follow how we feel!!!

チチカステナンゴマーケット the Chichicastenango Market

2/3朝になってクロービスの調子がちょっと良くなったので、せっかくのマーケットだからと、とりあえず出くわした。2/3 The following morning, Clovis was feeling little better so we went to check out the market since we came for it!
マーケットはさすが。すごい広域にわたってたくさんの作品が並ぶ。食べ物から手作り工芸品、手織りの布、バック、木製の家具やらアート作品。メキシコ、エジプト、東南アジアでのマーケットというと友達プライスといって、興味ないものでもなんでも売りつけにくるイメージがあって疲れるなーと思うこともあったけど、グアテマラのマーケットでは比較的落ち着いて作品をみることができたと思う。本当にこった作品もたくさんあって、荷物の事を考えなくていいなら是非とも買いたいものもたくさんあった。It is a huge market! It is like a maze! Many beautiful hand made art crafts and cloths are there. In general, Sometimes I get annoyed by people saying 'Amigo price!' even I am not interested in the things they are trying to sell but I think Guatemala is less aggressive which is great!

ちょうど教会行事に出くわした。クロービスがおなか壊してちょっと苦い思い出のチチマーケット。でも素敵な作品がたくさん並ぶし、マーケット好きの人にはとってもお勧めのところです。
この後、北上してネバハという小さな伝統的な姿がまだまだ残る町に行こうと思ったけど、何となく大きな町に行ったほうがよい予感がしたので、急きょアンティグアへ行くことに決めた。具合が悪い時には、いざというときに病院やら薬やら、外人向けのお医者さんがいる方が無難かと、、、。多くの町には旅行代理店があってバスなども手配ができるけど、アンティグアまでのバスを地元の人に聞いた。バス停というサインも何もないところで待ってバスに拾ってもらう。スタート地点じゃなかったけど幸い席に座れた！ラッキー。チマルテナンゴというところで乗り換え。バスを降りたところからは５０ｍほど歩き、次のバスへ。チキンバスは２０分置きぐらいに出ているので、乗り継ぎのタイミングはそんなに難しくない。

アンティグアに着きまたまたホテル探し。バスはマーケットの近くに泊まるので、そこから歩いて町へ。サンペドロに行くときにバスを乗り継いだ旅行代理店Onvisa Travel Agency に併設のホステルがあったので、そこに泊まることにした。ミニキッチンがあって、哺乳瓶も洗えるし、ミネラルウォーターの提供も無制限。なかなか快適です。お部屋にはベットが３つも。個室バスルーム共同で１泊Ｑ１２0（＄１５）。ツアーデスクもすぐそこで、旅のアレンジも簡単なのでお勧め。

Something is happening at the church! Well it was bit hard time for us here in Chichi market as Clovis had food poison but for sure it is a great market!! Well we were going to Nebaj next but we changed our mind. We wanted to go somewhere bigger city that has access to a hospital that has English speaker even we were not planning on going to a hospital. It just made us feel safer somehow at that time so we decided to go to Antigua instead. We took a chicken bus to Chimaltenango@35 and took another bus to Antigua. Q5 Though it was bit hard time for us while we were staying in Chichi since Clovis got sick but for sure, if you are big fun of Markets, this is worth trip!
アンティグアの町にはレストランチョイスもたくさん！ラザニアをチョイス！体が弱っているときはチーズがほしくなるクロービス。そしてフィンももりもり食べました。宿のそばにあるレインボーカフェは８時からライブがやっています。フィン、ミルク片手に夢中。
There are a lot of restaurant in Antigua. Since Clovis had have been sick, we got LasagnaQ55. Cheese saved him. And Finn loved it too. Rainbow cafe where we had dinner has live from 8PM most of the nights!

スリ経験
このチマルテナンゴからアンティグアまでのチキンバスで初めてすりにあいそうになった！！！電車やバスでのスリや痴漢はかなり近めに座ってきて、ジャケットで自分とターゲットの人の膝あたりを多い、何気なく手を伸ばしてかばんから財布をとったり、ちかんなら、触ってきたりという手口を使う。他の席が空いているのに何故か私の隣に無理して座りに来た男。通路を挟んだ隣の女の人と会話をしていたので、この人と連れだからかなと初めはそんなに疑わず。ふと自分の鞄をみると半分開いている。でもこのかばん、長年使っているのでファスナーが少し壊れているところがあるので、もしかしたら自然と開いたのかもといったん占める。その２０分ほど後、何となく隣の人は初めからうさんくさいと思っていたけど、ジャケットが気になって不安がよぎり、ちらりとジャケットの下をのぞいてみると、見事この男の手が私の鞄の中に！！！狭いバスの中、ナイフを持っていたらどうしよう、、、。フィンもおなかの赤ちゃんもいるし、、、、。でもとりあえず’なにしてんねーーーーん’と叫んでみた。男は、’やってへんやってへん’という。なにーーーー今まさに私みたやんかーーーー！！！クロービスも同じことを考えていて、フィンを抱いてるし、今はとりあえずバスからこの男を追い出すことが優先ト思い、スペイン語でこの男にバスから出ろと一言言うと男は動いているバスの後ろのドアから飛び降りた。周りの人も、’赤ちゃん連れてる人から何か盗もうとはけしからんねーーー’と口々に男の事を批難。スリには気をつけねば！幸い何も取られていなかったみたい。
Pick Pocket
Most of the time during traveling in Guatemala, we felt quite safe but when I took a chicken bus from Chimaltenango to Antigua, the seat was for 2 people but sometimes when it is crowded people squeeze and 3 people can sit maximum. One guy tried to sit next me even more seat available and started chatting with a lady near him so I thought they are friends. I had some bad feeling with this guy but well I just ignored my feeling. I just noticed my bag was half open one point but since my bag is bit old and the fastener was half broken so I just closed. about 20 minutes later, I had really bad feeling again.His jacket was cover over one of my leg and his I was getting more suspicious about this guy and peaked under the jacket. I saw the guys hand was in my bag!!!!! Wow it is real! 'What are you doing??!!' He said 'No no no!!' What's NO??!!This is unmistakable!!! Then Clovis told the guy to get off the bus. Then the guy jump off from the bus even the bus was running. The Guatemalan people around us was saying 'Con bebe??!! No credo!!!!'Well I would say we just need to be careful... it is the same as anywhere not only Guatemala. I still like Guatemala though.

2/2 朝お隣のザックファミリーのキャビンをノックしてみると、何とベイビーサトリが一晩中ひどい食あたりっぽい症状を起こしていたとのことで、すぐにXelaの町の病院へ。後で連絡が来て、サトリちゃんはとりあえず落ち着いたとのことだったのでほっとした。ザックファミリーはグアテマラに来てすぐ食あたりを起こし、まだ母乳を飲んでいるサトリちゃんにも影響が徐々に出始めていたらしい。2/2 Baby Satori was sick all night,,,, they took her to the hospital in Xela in the morning,,, Oh no,,,,,, they had bad luck with foods since they arrived and now Satori got sick,,,, later they called and Satori seemed O.K.
私たちは朝食をとって、温泉にもう一度つかり、次の目的地を相談した結果、チチカステナンゴというグアテマラ最大のマーケットがあるところに向かうことにした。Well we had breakfast and soaked again then packed up for next destination. Well since Zack's family won't be with us any more we made different plan. We are going to Chichicastenango that is famous for a biggest market in Guatemala. (Every Thursday and Sunday)


まずはＺｕｎｉｌというところまでは公共の交通機関がないので、トラックをチャーター。（１日数回乗合ミニバスもでている）Ｑ５０（約＄６）そこからチキンバスに拾ってもらってシェーラの町まで約３０分。トラックは荷物と一緒に後ろにのって景色を十分楽しみました！フィンパラダイス！シェーラからチチカツテナンゴまではチキンバスで約３時間Ｑ３０ほど。今回のバスの運転士さんはびゅんびゅんアグレッシブに飛ばしていった。一番前の席でフロントガラスが目の前の私たち。かなりのスリルでした！We took a truck to Zunil and took a chicken bus to Xela then took another chicken bus to Chichi. It took about 3 hours. The driver was extra aggressive driving and our seat was in the front!! It was like a roller coaster!!

バスを降りて、ホテルを探し、ひと段落ついたところで夕食を。うわー、屋台がいろいろでてる！Finally we arrived Chichi and found a hotel then went for dinner. Wow lots of street foods!!
長旅だったしかるく屋台ですませて明日のマーケットに備えるかー。まずはグリンガと名付けられたお肉とお野菜、チーズが小麦粉のトルティーヤに包まれたもの。Ｑ１０ Gets some food and we really wanted to go to bed early. We had Flour tortillas with cheese, meat and vegetable which is called 'Gringa'Q10
そしてこちらは、トルティーヤを揚げたような感じのものにサラダとソースが乗ったもの。Ｑ５。
グアテマラに来て初めて、地元の子供がディナーを買ってくれとずっと付きまとわれた。
なんだかちょっとやるせない気持ち、、、。
この町のマーケットは木曜日と日曜日。サンペドロ、アンティグア、シェラなど、あらゆるところから日帰りで来る人も多いけど、もう少し北上を予定していた私たちは１泊してまた次に進もうと思います！かなり疲れた日だったので早めにベットへ。ところが、、、、。クロービス、ついに食あたり、、、。一晩苦しみました、、、。同じものを食べた私とフィン。妊婦に赤ちゃん、、、。やばい、、、と思ったけど、私たちはなんともなかったみたい。クロービス、、、かわいそうだったけど、３人の中で一番被害を受けても大丈夫な人は君だったから、、、。ちょっとビビってしまった私たち、、、。この先はストリートフードはなしで行こう。And Fried corn tortillas with salad and source. Q5 It's quite good! You can come to the Chichi market from Antigua, San Pedoro, Xela etc as a day tour but we planed to go little farther north so we stay over night then go north this time! Well ,,,,, middle of the night,,,,, Clovis had really hard time,,,,,, from the foods,,, finally it happened to us too,,,,, Finn and I ate the same foods,,,, oh no,,,,, we are pregnant and baby,,,, but we were fine,,, No more street foods for us just to be safe,,,, I guess,,, but they look always yummy,,,,.

温泉リゾートキャビン！A hot spring Las Fuentes Georginas!

2/1今日はグアテマラの旅の中でも特にお勧めのスポットとなった温泉へ。BBQができるということだったので、まずは町のマーケットで食材をゲット！2/1 We are going to hot spring resort! We heard that we can do BBQ at the cabin so we got some food from the market in Xela! Wow we love BBQ we are so excited!

バスとトラックを乗り継いでも行けますが、２家族いることだし、タクシーでいってしまえーー！ということで、ケッツェルテナンゴから１時間タクシーで移動です。（Q１５０約＄２０）Xelaの町から山をずっと登ってZunilという町を抜けると細い山道になる。Since we are 2 families we decided to take a taxi. It takes about 1 hour from Xela and Q150 (about $20) by taxi.
そんな山々の隅々までこうしてお野菜が植えられている。すごーーーい急斜面！Between Zunil and the Cabin, you will see vegetable farms all over and they grow way up high on the mountain!! It's so beautiful and neat!!
いよいよ温泉Fuentes Georginasに到着！今日はこのキャビンに泊まります！温泉は日帰りでも来ることができます。温泉使用料１日Q50（約＄６．５）宿泊する場合は前もって予約をする宿泊料金と使用料金の合計から２５％オフで１人１泊Q170（約＄２１）ちなみにロンリープラネットに乗ってましたが、料金は上がってます。キャビン　www.lasfuentesgeorginas.com　We arrived Las Fuentes Georginas! These are the cabins! You can come here as one day trip or stay over night! I really enjoyed staying here! 雲が晴れてくると山々のとってもきれいな姿が見えました！The cloud was moving and look! It became such a beautiful mountain view!!!!
一番奥まで言ってみると、そこには露天の浴場が！I love out door bath especially hot springs!!

浴場のすぐ隣のレストランで食事をすることができます。リゾートにしてはお値段もそんなに高くない You can eat at the restaurant by the hot spring. And the price is not too bad as a resort!
早速入浴！うわーーここは一番温度が低いはずだけど、結構熱め！Wow it is bit hot!! It supposed to be coolest bath tab.
それでも慣れてくるとちびちゃんたちも入れるぐらいでした！みんなでリラックスーーー！But once we got used to it, even babies were comfortable!!
キャビンの隣に簡単なBBQ設備があるので、火を焚いてディナー作り。お風呂に長々入ってたら暗くなってきちゃった、、、。懐中電灯で照らしながらの夕食でした！We had long time in the hot spring and by the time we cooked dinner, we needed flush light...
キャビンの中にはプライベート浴場と水のシャワーがあり、蛇口をひねると温泉のお湯が出てきます。寝る前はキャンドルをともしてまたまた温泉にゆっくりつかりました！And each cabin has a private bath tab with hot water from hot spring! And cold shower as well. We took another bath before went to bed with a candle light! Wow it is romantic!
そしてしばらく恋しかった暖炉。朝晩は少しこ寒いので暖炉を焚いて！温泉ってほんといつ入ってもいいなーーー！！！かなりお勧めスポットでした！We were missing wood stove!! We really loved this place!!

初のチキンバス挑戦！Sna Pedoro to Xela by Chicken bus!

1/31 フィンの髪の毛はムースをつけなくてもこんな感じ。Finn's hair doesn't need any mousse. His hair is naturally shapes like Tintin!
映画化されたTINTINにそっくり！この日はサンペドロからシェーラへ移動する日。サンペドロに着いた日からいつか行かねばと思っていたTINTINレストランで朝食を。We found the Tintin Restaurant in San Pedoro. We finally got to go to the restaurant before we left San Pedoro!!

TINTINパンケーキとメニューにあったのでパンケーキマスターのクロービスは迷いなくこれ。意外と普通のパンケーキでした。クロービスはいつも特別な日にパンケーキでいろんな形を作ってくれる！TinTin Pan Cake sounded really interesting but it was just normal pan cake,,, しぼりたてオレンジジュースにサンペドロの地元コーヒー！Fresh squeezed Orange juice is always good! And San Pedoro Coffee!
オムレツの中にはフレッシュトマトとチーズがたっぷり入ってます。ジャガイモはローズマリーの味付け。なかなかいけてます！Omelets with fresh tomato and cheese. Fried potato with rosemary is always great combination!

他にも絵がたくさん飾ってあってとってもかわいいレストランでした！It was very cute restaurant!
さ、いよいよ時間が。今回はお初のチキンバスに挑戦！チキンバスとか、グアテマラの地元の人たちが利用するバス。ほとんど観光客はミニバスや長距離バスを利用する。なんでチキンバスって呼ばれるかっていうと、このバスの中からはみ出しちゃうぐらいの人たちが乗って、にわとりがバスに乗ってるイメージだから。日本の満員電車はチキン電車かーーー？？！！あ、でもグアテマラと違うのは、グアテマラでは赤ちゃんも子供もこの満員バスの中に普通にいます。人々もお子ちゃまフレンドリーだし。日本でお子ちゃま、赤ちゃん満員電車に乗ってると白い目で見られるよね、、、。今回はサンペドロからシェーラまで３時間ほどの道のり（Q30 約＄４）だけどサンペドロが出発地点なので確実に席に座れるということで乗ってみました！バスの色はとっても派手！いろんなデザインがあります。フィンはチキンバスの大ファン！シアシャとディエゴがバス乗り場まで見送りに来てくれました。バスは丘の上の公園から出発なのでめっちゃくちゃ急な坂をバックパックを背負い、がたがた道のベビーカー、ちょっと大変だったなー。トゥクトゥクに乗るのがお勧め。This is our first time to take a chicken bus!!! This bus leaves from San Pedoro so we can get seats for sure.Siasha and Diego came to the bus stop to say good bye. Thank you so much for your hospitality!! It was about 3 hours to get to Xela(Quetzaltenango) .
サンペドロ、ばいばーーーい！素敵な思い出、ありがとう！バスはくねくね細い道をスピード出して進みます。２０分するかしないか、突然路上で止まったかと思うと、修理をし始めた。さすが、、、、。バスの中の人々は、普通に座って待ってました。バスにはドライバーとアシスタント２人がスタッフとして乗っていて、アシスタントは乗ってきた人たちからお金を回収するのと途中途中人々を拾っていくために呼びかけをする役目。乗ってきた人たちの顔を一人一人覚えてないとお金回収し損ねちゃうけど、まちがいなく覚えてるところがすごい！さ、３時間ほどほとんどくねくね道。広い道路に出てからもカーブは続き山々を超えて行く。Bye Bye San Pedoro!! We had great time!!! The bus goes through the zigzag narrow road very fast. 20 min later, suddenly they started to fix the bus. we waited on the bus for a while. It sounds like happens all the time. There are a driver and an assistant. The assistant collect money from people. They try not to stop too long time so when we get on the bus, we have to be hurry and as soon as last person's one foot got on the step they leave. So there is no time to collect money at this point. So the assistant comes to you and collect money means he has to remember who just got on the bus!!! It is amazing!!!
さ、グアテマラ第二の都市のシェーラ。ケッツァルテナンゴってのが本当の町の名前。クロービスは昔この町で語学学校に通ったこともある。チキンバスは町のマーケットの近くにとまります。せっかくだから町の中心に行く手前にマーケットをみよう！さすが食材はすごい安い！大きなアボカド一つQ1（約２０セント）オレンジも１２個でQ8（約＄１）とか。Finally we arrived in Xela!!! Chicken bus stopped by the market. Let's have a look before we go to the center!! One avocado is Q1?! 12 Oranges is Q8?!
おなかがすいたのでランチをゲット！Let's get some food!!

さ、ミニバス（Q1）がセンターまで出ているので５分ほど乗って公園に到着。一足先にこの町に来ていたザックファミリー達と公園で落ち合いました！We took a mini shuttle to the central park and meet up with Zack's family!
ラテンアメリカの国では必ず町に広場があって町の憩いの場になっています。子供連れの人たちも多く、グアテマラの子供たちもフィン達と一緒に遊ぶことが多かったです！I love Plaza! It is such a great place to be!! Some Guatemalan kids joined Finn and Satori which was great!!
町を少し散策。評判のベイカリーに行って思わずわんさか買ってしまった！この先のスナックに！I am always excited for bakery!
ランチが遅かったので、夜はストリートフード。トルティーヤにお肉とお野菜を載せたもの。Q１０　ストリートフード、今のところまだ問題なし。さ、明日は温泉にでかけるぞーーー！！！We had street food in Xela. Street foods looks always nice but we have to be careful but we hadn't had any problem yet!! Tomorrow we will go to hot spring by Xela!!!

サンペドロのサンデーＢＢＱ Sunday BBQ in San Pedoro

1/30 今日は日曜日なのでホストファミリーは教会に行く日でご飯なし。てな訳で朝からカフェを求めて町の中心の方へ。あれ？！トウモロコシがあるいてる？！いやいや、人がしょって歩いてたんですねー。重たそう！1/30 The host family goes to church every Sunday so we were looking for a cafe for Breaky! On the way to the center, ??? what's that?! Is is moving corn??!! Well a guy was currying corn stems!! Wow it must be heavy!!!



フローレスを歩いていたときに子供連れのカップルに出くわした。お母さんは何とウィスコンシンラクロス周辺で育ったんだってー！！！そしてサンペドロの町でまた再会！カフェを探していたら偶然また出くわしたので一緒に朝食を！ほとんどのカフェはやはり日曜日。閉まってた。フィンはやっぱり年上の女の子にもてもて。またキスされちゃったーーー！We met this family when we were in Flores. They have a daughter who is similar age as Finn and the mom is from La Crosse area!!!! Wow then we saw them a couple of times in San Pedoro. The morning, we saw them on the street and we had breaky together! How nice!

少しお家へ。後ちょっとしか一緒にいられないねー。Then we went back home until lunch time. Finn really enjoyed with the host sister and brother!! This is the last day!!!


そろそろアメリカンの食事が恋しくなった私たちにはもってこいのサンデーバーベキューをシアシャが紹介してくれたのでランチにみんなで行くことにした！なんともでかいプレート。これ、一人分？！いや、絶対二人分はある！！Q80（約１０ドル）その他デザートにはBlackberry CobblerQ15もとってもおいしかったーー！We were missing American food and look!! This is perfect!! It's huge!! One whole plate of side dish and 3 kinds of meat! Q80 and we had Blackberry Cobbler for desertQ15 which is also yummy!

通常はプールの利用はQ20.日曜日はこうしてBBQを求めてやってくる人たちでいっぱい！旅行者や語学学校で勉強中の人、そしてここが気に入って住みついている人たちが集まる。Many travelers comes here on Sunday seeking this BBQ! Yes I understand now this is such a treat!!
お隣には滑り台とブランコがあったので地元っ子に交じってフィンは楽しんでました！サンペドロでの最後の日。とってもおいしいもの食べてとってもリラックスできました！！さ、明日は移動の日！Finn loves play ground of course. Our last day of San Pedoro was nice and relaxed!!

1/28 フィン、かわいい女の子にキスされてんだからもっと嬉しそうな顔してーーー！！ウィスコンシンボーイのザックの家族とようやく落ち合うことができた！彼ら がグアテマラの旅行を計画していなかったら私たち、グアテマラに来てなかったかも！一番の決め手は、お互い同じ年（２カ月違い）の子供を連れての旅という ことだった！ Finn, you should smile little bit while a cute girl is kissing you!!! Satori is Zack's daughter. If their family didn't plan this Guatemala trip, we would have not been here! Especially we both have same age (only 2 months different) child!

ザックたちとは数日一緒に行動の予定。予定を立ててたら、金曜日と土曜日にしかやっていない日本人のご夫婦がやっているお豆腐バーガーでランチを食べようと思ったけど、売り切れちゃった、、、、。残念、、、。奥さんが大豆からにがりの代わりにレモンで作っているという豆腐は大人気。照り焼き豆腐バーガーQ15、コロッケバーガー＠２０、メンチコロッケバーガー＠２５がメニューです。We will be together with Zack's family for a few days so we planed our schedule then we went to get lunch from the Tofu shop! This Japanese owned Tofu shop is only open on Friday and Saturday. Tofu is home made and they have tofu burger, korokke burger and menchi curger. I was so excited! But ,,,,, it was all sold out,,, Oh no,,,,,,.
あ、、、是非とも食べたかったな豆腐、、、すると、奥さんが、お豆腐は毎日作るから、明日でよかったら一丁とっとくよーということで、注文しました！Q22そして翌日学校の冷蔵庫に入れておいてくれて、さっそくお味見。う、う、う、うまい！！グアテマラでこんなおいしいお豆腐が食べられるのかーーーー！！すごい。ほんと大豆の濃厚な味がうまい！
Mayumi who makes tofu everyday offered me to deliver a block of tofu tomorrow! Wow of course we ordered and tasted it following day. It was soooooooooooooooooooooo tasty!!! She said she uses Lemon instead of Nigari since it is very hard to get ingredient!

さ、この日は空がとってもきれいで山々がとってもクリアに見えていたので、またまたボートQ15に乗って今度はサンマルコスという町に行ってみた！The mountain was so clear that day! We visited San Marcos.
山の上の方まあでぎっしりトウモロコシが植えられています。Wow they really grow corn everywhere! Can you see corn on the top of the hill??!!
豆腐バーガーを見逃してしまったのでおなかもぺこぺこ。サンマルコの広場にあるレストランでランチプレート。お肉、お魚共にビーンズ、ライス、サラダとトマトソースがついてきます。各Q25（約＄３）から揚げに焼き魚、なんだか日本のおかずみたいで懐かしい味がした。Since we missed the lunch at Tofu shop, we went to a restaurant by the park. Fried chicken or grilled fish plate. Q25 Again, I think it is very similar to Japanese meal!

何故か年上の女の子にもてもてのフィン。２０年後はこんな風に女の子から寄ってきてくれることなんてめったにないねんからもっと嬉しそうにしたらーーーーー！！！Somehow, many girls like Finn. Finn, it won't be the same in 20 years enjoy now!!!
ここサンマルコの町で最近はスピリチュアルを求めて海外からやってくる人たちが多く、数か月滞在する人も多い。ボート乗り場から広場までには、メディテーションセンターやヨガ、マッサージなどが並ぶ。それ以外は山々に囲まれた日本の田舎風景みたい。Many foreigners comes to San Marcos for spiritual stuff such as meditations, Yoga, Massages and so on. until we get to the park, many places established for tourist spiritual center but farther we went, it was just country view! We loved our little walking around San Marcos!

今のところフィンは女の子よりも男の子たちと遊んでもらう方が好きみたい。グアテマラの男の子達には自ら近寄っていく。それに、食べていたクッキーをあげてみたり。微笑みかけたり。アメリカじゃあり得ない！ほんとキャラがガラッと変わった。Finn seems like prefer to hang out with boys so far. But again, he is very shy in the U.S but not here in Guatemala. He gave some cookies to the boys and tried to get their attention so hard.

半分以上ベビーカーには乗らず歩いたフィン。楽しそうだったーーー。サンマルコの町。すごく小ぢんまりしていて、なんだかとっても魅力的だったなー。 We walked up and down quite a bit. It was beautiful!!
帰りのボートを待つ夕暮れ時。３０２０ｍの高さを誇るサンペドロ火山は北海道の利尻島のように水面からつながる山裾がほんと美しい！登るのは約４時間ほどらしい。ツアーで登るのが一番安全とか。While we were waiting for the boat back to San Pedoro, we enjoyed the view of the Volcano San pedoro (3020m around 9000feet). The base of the mountain comes out from the lake! It is like Rishiri island in Hokkaido in Japan!

ざ、ホームステイ先に戻って夕飯、今夜はタマーレス。今回はお米バージョンでした！Wow we had another great day! We went back to the host-family's and had dinner. It was Tamares with rice!
