私たちの結婚式は２００７年８月２２日から始まり、２００９年７月１１日の３回目のWeddingを終えました！今回の結婚式は、アメリカの田舎ウィスコンシンバージョンです！ウィスコンシンはアメリカの中でも農業、酪農が盛んで、春から秋にかけては、辺り一面グリーン。じゃ～ん！ジョンディアのトラクターで登場してみました～～！気分はすっかりクウィ～～ン！晴れた日には青空が広がり、野鳥の声、動物がのんびりしている姿が印象的です。冬は北海道並みに寒くなるので、夏はたくさんのウェディングがあります。アメリカ人はおもにキリスト教なので、教会で式を挙げその後はディナーそして夜更けまでダンスパーティーというところですが、私達はｸﾛｰﾋﾞｽの生まれたファームで、青空の下で全て行いました！
Third time is the charm! This is our last wedding party and we held it in Wisconsin! (We've had 3 weddings since 2007!) Wisconsin, America's dairy state located in the fetal heartland called the Midwest, has so much green and blue with it's rolling hills and clear skies. It's a perfect combination for a picturesque wedding. Wii~~~~~~ I showed up by tractor. It looks like a very traditional Wisconsin Wedding arrival! right?
この上ない良い天気に恵まれ、友人のオライアンが指揮をとってくれました。背後にあるアーチはお兄さんからのプレゼントで日本の神社をイメージしての手作りアーチです！１か月前から芝刈りしたかいがありました！！右下のお花は、酪農王国ウィスコンシンらしくミルクの入れ物にトウモロコシと、お花でデコレーションしてくれていました！The weather was just perfect. Our friend Orion married us, the arch behind us was made by Clovis' brother Hawkins! He based it off of the shapes he saw in Japanese shrines! How nice!!! Look at the flowers in the picture! It's in a milk can with corn stocks!
持っているブーケは、地元の白樺の木の皮でラッピングしてくれた地元の人の手作り！！This is my special birch bouquet homemade by friends of ours!
ファームには川も流れているので、パーティーに来てくれた子供たちはビュービングを楽しんでいました！気持ちよさそ～～！The weather was so good, the kids went tubing! They are having lots of fun!!
田舎では公共の交通機関がないので皆車でやってきます。しかしながらお祝いの席にお酒はかかせません！みなさんファームでキャンプしてくださ～～い！！This is in the country side and there is no public transportation, so everybody comes by car. But Wisconsin can't have a party without alcohol, so please camp out everyone!!
さて、今度は少々ソーシャルタイム。もちろんビールタイム！ウィスコンシンはビールも有名です！さ～さ～おつぎしましょ～！と眞智子さん。It's beer time! Wisconsin is famous for beer, of course Machiko (my mom) is happy!

そして’レセプション’ディナー＆トークタイム！皆からたくさんのお祝いのスピーチを頂いて！今日のお料理は友人のファーマーが、この日の為に特別にオーガニックで豚を育ててくれ、それを、丸ごとＢＢＱにしてもらいました！朝６時からずっと焼き続けてくれたそうで。う～～なんて贅沢！We had a beautiful BBQ! The pig was given to us from our good friends at Turkey Ridge Organic Apple Orchard! Grant a friend of ours from Organic Valley started cooking from 6 O'clock in the morning for us!!! When he finished, the great pig and his master Barbecuing skill created yummy finger licking goodness!!!
そして更に！ｸﾛｰﾋﾞｽの母ジェーンが１５時間かけて作ってくれたというウェディングケーキ！見かけもお味も絶品！愛情たっぷりウェディングケーキです！This is our wedding cake by Mama Jane and Dawn Hundt! It took them around 15 hours,,,,, Thank you so much everyone!!
２年前にたまたま出会ったＪａｎe率いるカントリーミュージックバンドにお願いし、ウィスコンシンスクウェアーダンス！We had a great band and square dance caller!! most of us where beginners but they got us all having a blast. I met this band 2 years ago and now I had them play for my wedding, that was really really special!
子供から大人まで皆で踊りました！We all enjoyed dancing!その後は私たちの生い立ちビデオの上映をして、いよいよｸﾛｰﾋﾞｽ達のバンドスブスウェッロのパフォーマンス。ヒリビリーヒップホップ？の彼らの歌にはウィスコンシンのソングも入っていて、気がつけば周りは３００人以上の人がやってきていました！After that, we showed our video and then, Clovis' band Subsuelo performed! His band has a song called "Wisconsin song." Everybody here loves this song!
There were over 300 people!!眞智子ママものりのり！ My mom rocked out too!
その後はダンスパーティーとなり、夜更けまでパーティーパーティーでした！
本当に天気にも恵まれ、最高の結婚式となりました！みなさんに感謝です！ありがと～～～！！
Then a DJ named Sable held a dance party until early morning! It was such a great day I will never forget it. We had sooooo much fun thanks to everyone that help, from the cleaning of the farm to the styling of my hair! Thank you so much everyone!!

舞台裏編 Wedding making - Behind the scenes

ウェディング前にはブライダルシャワーといって、女の子友達だけでパーティーをします。友達がほとんど日本にいる私は計画もせず。ところが。義妹のシダローズがひそかに計画を立ててくれていました！日本食まで用意してくれて、まずは彼女のおうちでガールズ達とおしゃべりとディナー。私の大好きなモヒート（ホワイトラム、とライムジュースそしてフレッシュミントたっぷりのカクテル）。I never tought about my bridal shower since most of my friends are in Japan. But my sister Cedarose planed for me! I had such a great time with girls!
そしてその後はヘアードレッサーのケイティーが’〇秘’ウィスコンシン流ブライダルシャワーパーティーレクチャーのもと、いざドレスアップが完了したらバーへと！バーにいた人たちもお祝いしてくれました！My fiend and hair dresser Katie tought me the Wisconsin tradition which is ,,,,,oh I better not to tell you on this blog,,,,. Anyway, it was a great fun! Thank you ladies!!!

私のスタイリスト’ケーティー’私たちが上映ビデオの作製にぎりぎりまで追われているところをちゃっちゃと髪の毛を仕上げてくれるケーティー。彼女だけが時間を正確に読める人だ！！さすがプロ！ビデオ制作は実はパーティー中にも引き続き制作され、ようやく間に合いました！！！でも観客には大盛況でやれやれ！！My friend Katie is my hair dresser. She is just amazing. We are always down to the wire on the wedding day, Clovis and I are finishing our video even while she was doing my hair.
うわ～～～神業！！！Oh,,,,,,, I can't imagine what she did to get it soooo beautiful.
トラクターの運転士を務めてくれたスペローは、坂道を下ってくる間’怖い？’と聞いてきたので、ぜ～んぜ～ん。信用してるから大丈夫～。’なんて言ったら、’僕は今ちょっと怖くって緊張してんねんけど～。’と。、、、、。笑うしかなかった！でも無事到着できたし、大成功でした！！！ On the way to ceremony, Sparrow who delivered me on the tractor looked back and asked me if I was scared. I said "Not at all. Because I believe in you!" Then he said "I am bit nervous, I've never gone down this way and it will be bit steep so you might slid off and fall!",,,,,,, I just kept smiling!! It was the best way and it was the best ride I ever had!
そして、準備、片づけに携わってくださった皆さん、本当にありがとうございました！Many people helped with our wedding party. Thank you so much!!!!
