今日はウィスコンシン最終日。せっかくウィスコンシンに着たので、ホームメードチーズに、ガーデンになっているたくさんのハーブを混ぜたハーブチーズを作ることに！ガーデンからとれたフレッシュなハーブはとっても素敵な香りと味。それにハーブは心も落ち着かせてくれるし、体内でも健康を維持してくれる自然のお薬というわけですね！更においしい！とくれば言うことなし！Last day in Wisconsin! We had a cooking class. Home made soft herb cheese! We pick a lot of herbs from her garden. Herbs are amazing! They make us feel very relaxed and keep us healthy too! They are natural medicine!
それに合わせてパンも焼いてっと！Home made buns too!
匂いがたまりません。こんなにふんだんにハーブを使っても匂いもきつ過ぎずさっぱりチーズとこれがまた良く合う！Ohhhhhhh, smells great!
お庭でとれたクルミもちゃっかり頂いちゃいました！The walnuts are from her garden too!
ロバ君達も出てきてくれました！Her donkeys are so cute!
そこで、今度はホースライディングに挑戦！たけちゃん、リラックスリラックス！We tried horse back riding too!!!
みんな、一人で馬を操ります！乗馬が初めての人はちょっとドキドキ！ ちゃんとトレーニングされてるから初心者でも大丈夫！リラックスして馬を操ればいいだけです！Everyone has to control their horse by them selves!! All the horses where really well trained. We just need to be calm and in control of them!
じゃーーん！カウガールズ！Wii~~, cowgirls!!
今度は全米に路線を持つ長距離列車憧れのアムトラックにのって、ミネソタ州のミネアポリスまで向かいます！こらこらそんなに近づいたらひかれちゃうよ～～～。駅には駅員さんもいないこの小さな駅トーマ。Amtrak!! We took the Amtrak from Thoma to Minneapolis! The 'Thoma' station doesn't have any staff just a little old train station in countryside!
まずはオブザベーションカーへ。この車両は景色を楽しむための車両。まきは早速シカゴから乗ってきたという人たちとおしゃべりを楽しみます。旅で出会う人達との会話も旅の楽しみの一つですね！４人掛けで座れるテーブルと椅子が窓に向いている席、そしてバーがある。We stayed in the observation car in the beginning and enjoyed the view! Maki is such a friendly girl, she already found someone to talk with in her car! It is so nice to meet people during a trip! There are 4-person Booths that are next to the windows so that we can see views well.
今回は約４時間の旅なので、普通の客席室。でも飛行機のビジネスクラス並みに幅も広く、足もゆっくり伸ばせて快適快適！それになんといってもこのウィスコンシンの南西部からミネアポリスまでは、アムトラックの路線の中でもトップクラスの景観！ミシシッピ川に出るまではウィスコンシンの牧場が連なり、辺り一面グリーンの世界。そしてミシシッピ川に出るとミネアポリスまでずっと川沿いを走っていくので、夕日と川、そして野鳥を見ながらの最高の旅ができます！This time the train only took 4 hours, so we took coach seats. But this is really nice. It's like business class on a plane! This area is one of the top class views from the Amtrak! South west Wisconsin to Minneapolis! The train goes through Wisconsin dairy farms then meets the Mississippi. It goes along the Mississippi all way to Minneapolis! Nice sunset river views!!
そしてディナーはレストランカーで！ステーキ、シーフード、チキン、ラム、ベジタリアンパスタ等のチョイス。We had dinner in the restaurant car! Steaks, sea foods, Chickens, Lam, Vegetarian Pasta ,,,,. It was special to have dinner on a train! We enjoyed it very much!
あまりの心地よさに危うくミネアポリスより先にいくところでした。みんなこの先１０時間ぐらいのってもいい～～～なんてほどの快適さだったようです。アメリカの列車の旅、２日３日も乗って移動する人もいます。なので寝台車等もあり、快適な旅ができるんですよ！！車に荷物を載せてウィスコンシンから回送となったｸﾛｰﾋﾞｽと落ち合ってホテルへと！今日も充実した一日でしたね！When we arrived in Minneapolis, we were still on the train. Everyone wanted to stay longer!!!! Some people spend 2-3days on the train for their trip. There are individual bed rooms and great service! Now we are going to meet Clovis, who drove from Wisconsin with our luggage, and go to the Hotel!! Oh, we had such a fun day again!!
