アンティグアからコバンへの移動中のミニバスQ240の中。途中の町でお祭りごとがあって２時間、日本のお盆ラッシュの高速道路のように動けません。ミニバスにはエアコンもなく、このエリアは標高が低いのでかなり暑い、、、。We were on the way to Coban but stacked in the middle of road. There was a festival around this area and the minibus didn't move for almost 2 hours!!!　It was super hot!!

遊びもあきたし、のどかわいたからダディーのお膝でミルク休憩。約４時間の予定が６時間ほどかかってコバンの町に到着。予約していたホテルCasa D' Acunaへ。ここは町で一番ファンシーなレストランらしい。ホテル自体はシンプルな部屋でバスルームは共同。Q100 ダブルベットルーム　Well it's getting board I just have milk time on my daddy's lap! Then finally we arrived at the hotel Casa D' Acuna in Coban. It takes 4 hours normally but because of the traffic it took us 6 hours! But Finn was very patient! Good boy! This hotel has the fanciest restaurant in Coban. The room itself is nothing fancy though but it is cheep. Q100 double bed without bathroom

バスが長かったので、さっそく町の公園へ行ってみるとたくさんの地元のファミリーが遊びに来ていた。After the long trip, we went to the park in town. There were a lot of Guatemalan family in the park.
ほんとアメリカでは他の子供たちのところに自分から行くことはありえへんのにどんどんお友達を作っていくフィン。We still can't believe that our son were making so many friends. He is always shy in the U.S,,,, it is very interesting!
もうとまりません。この地元の子供やお母さん、お父さんたちもとってもやさしくフィンを迎えてくれました！Wow he is going and going!! Guatemalan kids and parents were welcoming Finn.公園の近くには、アルゼンチン名物エンパナーダのお店が！クロービスはアルゼンチンを旅していたときに毎日のように食べていたという懐かしのエンパナーダQ7.5( $1)。さっそくお味見！中にはチキンとお野菜の詰め物が入っていて、生地は揚げてある。なかなかいけてます！滞在中２回も足を運んでしまいました！Then we found Argentinian Enpanadas shop! When Clovis was traveling in Argentina he had enpanada almost everyday! He was very excited! Now let's taste it! Yummy-----!! Inside is Chicken and vegetable filling.
お店のおばちゃんに抱っこされて見つめあい。泣くのか？！笑うのか？！Finn, are you crying or smiling??!!
わらったーーーー！！Smiling!!!! Wow he is such a friendly guy now!!
夕食は公園の近くのレストランカフェでスープにお肉、そしてその他サンドウィッチを注文。このお肉は焼き肉のような味付けがされてある。公園では屋台でこのお肉のお店が６個ぐらい並ぶ。同じメニューなのに６件。それぞれ好みの屋台があるのかなーーー？？！！屋台では炭火も使ってるし屋台で食べたかったけど、やっぱりおなか壊すリスクは今は追えない、、、。でもこのカフェのお肉もおいしかった。スープはアスパラガスのクリームスープ。かなりお塩が聞いてたのでちょっとからかったーーー。さ、明日はいよいよコバンからデイトリップでグアテマラの中で一番美しいところとも言われているSemuc Champeyへ！楽しみーーーー！！ We had dinner at cafe near the central park. Asparagus cream soupQ13 Fried beef Q22 and sandwiches with homemade roasted pork Q20. This beef dish seems to be very popular. There are about 6 shops around the park and all of them sell the same dish! Local people go their favorite one! Oh it smells so good. I wanted to try one of the shop on the street but now we are extra conscious for street foods,,,,. But the cafe had good one too! Tomorrow, we are going to the place called Semuc　Shampay. We heard that people say it is the beautiful place in Guatemala!!! We were so excited!!
