コバンの町散策 the City of Coban

コバンの町の最終日。ホテルのすぐお隣にあるコーヒーツアーに参加！午後に雨が降ってきたらツアーは催行されないということで、朝食の前にツアーに参加することに。It's last day of Coban. We joined the coffee tour just next to our Hotel. The lady speaks English so we learned a lot about coffee. When it is rainy they don't offer the tour so we decided to join before breakfast.

コーヒーの他にも、カルダモンが。These are Cardamon bushes I never seen before!
うわー。これがカルダモンかー。グアテマラの人たちはそんなに好まないらしく、中東に輸出用のものがほとんどとか。These are mostly for export to central east.
コーヒーの豆ができるプロセスは機械化されてもまだまだ人の手が必要。ありがたく頂かねば！ツアーの終わりにはおいしいコーヒーをいただきました！ツアー料金一人Ｑ３０（約＄４）コーヒー付き They use machine for processing the coffee seeds into coffee beans but it seems like it still needs human's hands. It is really a lot of work!! The end of the trip we had a great cup of coffee! The coffee tour Q30/pp about 30-40min.
さ、ツアーを終えてコーヒーについてたくさん学んだあとは、カフェへ。この町はおいしそうなスウィーツがあるカフェがちらほら。さっそくお試し！Then we went to this cafe. Coban has a lot of cafe that has delicious sweets and coffee!
チーズケーキにココア。グアテマラではココアはミルクなしで飲むのが普通。オールスパイスが入ってとってもおいしい！！Cheese cake and hot chocolate! We can choose with milk or without. Since Guatemalan don't use milk so much, we tried without. It had a bit of allspice and very delicious!
ここのカフェはフランス人の奥さんとグアテマラ人の旦那さんが経営している。彼らの息子さんとフィンはトラクターに夢中。Finn found another friend here. His mom is French and got married to Guatemalan and they own the cafe. Well I understand why they have such a nice sweets!
そして原料はほとんどオーガニックのものを使用。ハニーとカカオをミックスしたものが気に入ったのでお持ち帰り！They use mostly organic too! These are honey and cacao mix spread. We loved it!
そろそろフィンのお昼寝の時間だから一回ホテルにかえるかー。と、帰り道、レイディー達にモテモテのフィン Finn was so popular. Look at the lady's face! He can make lots of people happy!
フィンが寝てる間にクロービスが昨日まる一日夢みていたというキャロットケーキとカプチーノ。くまさんカプチーノ！かわいーーー！！We came back to our hotel for Finn's nappy time. While he was sleeping, we had carrot cake that Clovis has been thinking about for a couple of days and even he had a dream about it!
すべて手作りのデザートが並びます！The hotel has a great selection of bake goods!


さ、明日はアンティグアまでのまた長い道のりになるから、夕食前に町をお散歩。高台の教会に行ってみました。途中フィンの大好きなにわとり達がたくさんいて大喜び。We went for walk before dinner. Those Chickens entertained Finn a lot!! Well tomorrow we will back to Antigua!! Our trip is getting closer to the end but still a couple of days left!
