私達はいつもブルーベリーをお目当てに田舎にあるアーミッシュのフルーツ販売所を訪れます。車で約４０分ぐらい。ここには氷で作られた大きな冷蔵室があります。アーミッシュの人達は電話を使わないので、いつどのフルーツが来るかわかりません。ブルーベリーはいつもフィンの誕生日当たりだからそろそろかなと思って行ってみると、すでに売り切れ。次の便はこの日の翌日の朝着くというなんともタイミング悪し、、、。その代わり、桃を大量にゲット！３０個ぐらい入って１８００円とはなんとも安い！ There is a fruits shop runs by Amish around here but still around 40 min in a car. They have a huge refrigerator but not electricity. They use ice that's all! Anyway, we go there to get balk of blueberry for our everyday smoothie. We kind of have to guess when it comes so we decided to visit them. But ,,,, sold out,,,, they said it will come the following morning,,,, well we got a box of peach and went home.
めげずに翌日。ゲットしました！！９キロぐらいの箱のブルーベリー１９００円ほど。うわ、これはほんとお買い得！うちは４箱買って冷凍にし、毎朝飲むスムージーに。他のベリーと合わせて１年中楽しんでます！Next morning, We got them!! Wow $1.9/LB!!!! We got 40 LB! Boys loved to eat as fresh and we freeze them for our smoothie!
スウィートチェリーも到着してました！これ、止まりません。子供たちも次から次へとお口にパクパク。フルーツあふれる生活ってすてき～～～～！Sweet cherries are such a treat!
ちなみにお家のお庭ではラズベリーがわんさか毎日なってます！たまりませんな～この季節！ Now we have raspberries in our yard too. Oh I love this season!!!
あ～ほんまに幸せ～！
