金曜日のフィッシュフライ！Friday fish fry!

 小さな村にポツンとある昔からのバーに金曜日のフィッシュフライをみんなで食べに行きました！まずはウィスコンシンビールでカンパーイ！フィンとキイの両方のグランパグランマ。天国のじーじもちょうどばーばの横にいるはず！　Fish fry Friday! Both grand parents are here. I bet Ji-ji is also next to Ba-ba!  

 その名の通りフィッシュとフレンチフライ。サラダバーが付きます。Fish and french-fry. Don't worry we get salad too. 


食べる時もいっつもキイを気にしてくれるば～ば。 Kii, don't worry I never forget about you. Your bed is here!!

 帰り道の空はとってもきれいでした！日中時間が一番長い6月ってすてきーー！Wow it's so beautiful! I love June because it's longest day light of the year!!

名前入りキュートベイビーグッツ！The cute baby goods from Japan

 10日違いで赤ちゃんを産んだ学生時代のお友達Ｕちゃんが送ってくれたＫＩＩの名前入りタオルグッツ！One of my best friends from collage sent those cute baby goods from Japan for KII!!

フィンのお下がりばっかりのキイには最高のギフト！ありがとう！Mostly KII wares Finn's old outfit but those are great his name is on it!! Thank you so much Yuu-------!!

 

私には絹の名前入り風呂敷！早くお互い会えますように！！We hope to see you soon!!!

 ベイビーキーとのテントでの睡眠は、、、、ふーまだやっぱりちょっとタフ。翌朝すでにクロービスが火をおこしてモーニングコーヒーを用意しててくれました！Sleeping in a tent with Kii wasn't the most comfortable thing but we made it! Clovis had already made morning coffee for us when I work up!

そして朝食はもちろんこれ。ベーコンエッグスペシャルサンド！This is the best camping breakfast!




 
火加減がとっても難しいけどクロービスがいつもおいしく作ってくれます！フィンはベーコン大好き！さっそくいっただきまーす！　These look perfect! Thanks Clovis! Finn loves bacon!

わーい！黄身が鮮やか！Blight yellow york!

おなかがいっぱいになったところで今度はハイキング！Now we have a lot of energy! Let's go for hiking!

泉がわき出ているところに自然の冷蔵庫。昔はここに牛乳を絞った後ミルク缶に入れて保存してました！ Spring refrigerator. Farmer used to stock milk cans here! 



わーい！大自然ってすてきーーー！ Great to be in nature!

 トップ　オブ　ザ　ロック！！Top of the rock!!!

わーい！滝だ滝だーーー！Wee---- water fall!! Wawa wawa---- 

かたぐるまー　3キロはあったなーフィン、よく歩けましたーーー！ Finn walked a lot! It was about 2 miles!

 ひーーービーチは最高！Ｂｙ　キイ　ば～ばも一緒に楽しいキャンプの旅でした！I love beach!! By Kii      It was a wonderful camping trip!!

初めてのキャンプ Kii's first camping trip!

 6月のウィスコンシンは夏の日々が続いてキャンプに行かずにはいられない私達。今回はまだ1カ月のキイも仲間入り。ば～ばがいてくれるから大丈夫かな？！We have been enjoying the summer weather here in Wisconsin! We took one month old baby Kii with us! 

 キャンプは偶然にもフィンの初めてのキャンプで行ったウィスコンシン州立公園のGovernor　Ｄｏｄｇｅ　でした！We camped in the Governor Dodge which was the same location as Finn's first camping trip though we didn't think about it when we planed! It has nice beach, easy hiking trails, and lakes for safe canoeing so it is perfect camping location for families!

 うわー空がすごい青くって緑が映える！ソニーのサイバーショット（カメラ）は色が鮮やかに出るなー。Blue sky and greens are so beautiful!

すでにカヌー経験済みのキイはまたまたお利口さん。 Kii is champion for Canoe ride!

 フィンはば～ばと先頭！And Finn!


木　キイ！！ Ki(Tree) Kii---- Finn was guiding for us!


わーよく見ると水草の花が咲いてる！水草がたくさんあるところは水が透き通っていました。 Wow flowers! The weeds clean the water !!

 わーい！木のアーチくぐるぞーーー！カヌーって楽しいなー！気がつくとすでに2時間もたってました！Wee----- we are going through the tree tunnel! We enjoyed the canoe for 2 hours!


さ、暗くなる前に夕食を作ろう！Now it's cooking time!

 キイはすやすやいつものごとくば～ばベッドで眠ります。Baby Kii loves sleeping in Ba~ba Bed!

 あ、起きた！ And just being in her arm too.

 フィンはいろんな遊びを考え出すのが得意です。Finn is very good at finding fun things!

 わーーーい！夕食だ！いただきまーーす！Let's eat!!!

 最後はデザートマシュマロあぶり！外はパリっと中はとろ～り！キャンプの定番ですね！さ、明日もいっぱい自然を楽しむぞーー！おやすみーーー！Of course Marshmallow desert too!

グリーンエネルギー 風力発電！Green Energy Windmill!

グリーンエネルギー運動が盛んなこの地域。中心までが１００メートル、羽のてっぺんまではさらに４０メートルの風力発電。一日で約2軒の家分電気1年分の電気を作ることができるそうです！真下に立つとぐわーんぐわーんという音でちょっと怖い！
Green energy windmill was built in Cashton in Wisconsin by Organic Valley and Gandersen Luthren. It is 330feet to the center of the blade. and blade it self is about 120feet! It's BIG! It can make one year of two houses electricity per day! We were little bit scared by the sound when we were below it

ビーチに行って遊びました！海は遠いけどこうして近くに遊べるビーチがあるからうれしいなーAfter that we went to the beach in Jersey Valley park! Finn can play on the beach forever!

名前変更！ Kii or Kii?!

 ５月６日に産まれてからキイは樹怡という漢字を使っていました。出生届をシカゴの領事館に提出した後、え？？！！怡という字は子供の名前に使えないと連絡が入りました。We named our new baby Kii. It is a Japanese name. Usually we have three way to right our name. Hiragana キイ　Katakana キイ　and Kanji　Ｋｉ樹（Ｔｒｅｅ）　ｉ怡（Ｄｅｌｉｇｈｔｆｕｌ）which is already complicating for many of you who doesn't know Japanese language. Anyway, we decided to use the Kanji above. We submitted a form to register for Japanese birth certificate. A couple of weeks later, we got a phone call and they said that the character of ｉ怡　cannot used for child's name. ????!!!! So we had to change his Kanji,,,,,


ミスターキイ、落ち着いて聞いてね。漢字を考え直さないといけないのだ、、、。！Mr. Kii, Daddy has an important news for you,,,,. Don't get upset O.K?!


なにーーー？？！！ありえへーーーーん！！？？Oh　no---------------

 この世は厳しいなー。あきらめて考え直すか、、、。 Let me think,,,,, he was quite serious about it it's my NAME!!!



そこで、ものすごい勢いで成長しているキイを見て真智子ば～ばの提案で偉大な木、木偉に決定しました！キイはば～ばに名前を決めてもらって良かったねー！Ba~ba Machiko happened to be here. She suggested　木偉Great Tree. Its sounds great! Well now on, he is 木偉　(Kii)!


これからもシーモンファミリーをよろしくです！The Siemon family!

１カ月経ちました～ Kii 1month old!

 この世に誕生してちょうど１カ月（6/6）だんだん顔もはっきりしてきました！身長は１２センチ、体重は１８００グラムほど増えました。フィンの時の２倍の速さで大きくなっているようです！1month old(6/6)! His face is so clear now! And he is growing supper fast! He grew 4 inches and gained 4 LB in a month! Kii is almost same size as 2 month old Finn!

 真智子ば～ばは来てからずっとこうして一日中キイを機嫌がいい時も悪い時もいつも抱っこしていてくれます。そしてKii を寝かしつけるとフィンと遊んでくれます。Since Machiko Ba~ba came, Kii is always with her doesn't matter whether he is happy or fussy! And whenever she is available, she plays with Finn!

時には二人同時に！Sometimes Machiko holds two boys!

食べるときまでキイはば～ばと一緒！この日はダディーのパンケーキの日。Even our eating time too! It's pancake day!!!!!

フィンはもう夢中。Finn loves daddies pancake!

ウィスコンシンでは毎年６月がイチゴの季節です！June is Strawberry season in Wisconsin!!

 

昨年植えたイチゴが太陽をたくさん浴びて真っ赤になりました！フィンもば～ばが来て以来、日本語も少しずつ出てくるようになって、’あか　いちご　いちごーーー’と言いながらば～ばと一緒にお庭でイチゴ摘み！We planted strawberry last year! We are getting a lot of sweet strawberry!! Since Machiko is here Finn started saying more Japanese words! He goes ' AKA (RED) AKA!! Big AKA ICHIGO(Strawberry!!

普段フルーツをあまり食べてくれないフィンも摘みたてのイチゴに挑戦！気に入ったみたいで何個も食べました！Finn doesn't eat fruits so much but he thought the strawberry he picked with Machiko were awesome! Then he started eating more and more! Good job!

とれたてのイチゴのシーズンの楽しみはショートケーキ！アメリカのショートケーキはスコーンのような生地を焼いてその上にフレッシュいちごをのせて生クリームと一緒にいただきます！イチゴは砂糖やはちみつを混ぜなくってもとっても甘かった！We are excited for the strawberry short cake with our fresh ICHIGO!

 

これはクロービス用。どっさり生クリームを載せて食べてました。オーガニックバレーの生クリーム。ほんとおいしいわーー！This is for Clovis!
