ビロクアの町 Viroqua

 

長いドライブを終えてとうとうビロクアの町の我が家に到着！

お家で朝はのんびり。６年生のゆなは学校の吹奏楽部であるとホルンを担当。この夏のコンクールで”Sing Sing Sing'で入賞し、９月にも県のコンクールを控えている。ピアノにも興味があって、このSing　Sing Sing を含めた３曲弾けるようになりたいと、滞在中、毎日のようにピアノを練習していました。会うごとに成長しているところを見られるのはうれしいな～もっと一緒に弾いてあげたかったんだけど、何せボーイズたちがいるからなかなか時間が取れなかったね、、、。After the long driving finally we arrived in Viroqua!Yuna (6 grade) plays alto-horn at school their school won the musical contest so they can play again for the next contest in September. She is also trying to learn piano. She brought her favorite notion book and practiced everyday while she was here! It's so great to see her practicing so hard and getting better and better everyday!

 午前中は町のお店でお買い物、クラフトも大好きなゆなと午後からは町の図書館でダックテープを使ったクラフトがあったのでーイズたちはばぁばに任せてちゃっかり楽しんできました！She also loves crafts so I took them to our library craft class! Boys stayed with my mom at home so we had nice girls time!


新しくなった図書館はとってもきれいで過ごしやすい！ Oh I love our library!

うちにはいろいろエンターテイメントがあります。この先のキャンプでロッククライミングの前にまずはお家で体験。みんな問題なさそうです！Our house has a lot of fun stuff. Everyone had fun!

 待ってる間はばぁばが得意な卓球。

 お天気が良かったからお外で食べる機会もたくさんあってよかったね！We had such a nice weather while they were here so we got to eat outside quite a bit! Oh we love Wisconsin summer!

 ばぁばは意外と体力あります。お庭でいろんなゲームをしてくれました。Grandma played with her grand kids a lot!

 ジャガイモほりほり。My garden has lots of foods now!

取れたてを食べてって！ We harvested lots of potatoes and veges and cooked for dinner!

 ニンジンさんもビーツもトマト！Carrots, beets, kale and basil,,,,,

 ワゴンに乗せてそれーーー！Put them in the wagon and carry up to the house!!

町のいつも行く公園。今回はあれよあれよと時間が過ぎて結局１回しか行かなかったねー Went to the park

町のスケートボードパークでセナも地元っ子に仲間入り！結局町で過ごす時間は２日間ほどだったけど、なんとか町の雰囲気はわかってもらえたかなー。

 ちょうど金曜日だったので、フィッシュフライを食べにレストランへジョージとジェーンが誘ってくれました。キリスト教の人が多いアメリカは金曜日はフィッシュフライ（魚のフライトポテト）を食べるというのが習慣になっている事が多い。チーズカードというフレッシュチーズの揚げ物がみんなお気に入りだったみたい。やっぱりウィスコンシンに来たらチーズをいっぱい食べてかえってほしいねぇ！！Friday, George and Jane invited all of us for fish fry!
