名古屋のゴミ事情と環境運動 Eco in Nagoya

今回は名古屋市南区に住む従兄のまいちゃんとのりさんの新婚さんの所にお邪魔しました。
聞くところによると、名古屋市の中でも地球の温暖化問題への取り組みとして、いくつかの区でゴミの分別教化運動が行われているようです。さすが、家には生ゴミ、プラスチック、再利用できるごみと細かく別れ、専用のごみ箱などもあり、この他にも3つぐらいの分別のゴ箱があり徹底しています。
I visited my cousin, who just got married last year, in Nagoya.
As you already know the Global Warming is very serious problem so more and more people started considering about it.
Some of the area in Nagoya have special rules for sorting garbage.


さらに生ゴミには木屑を市で配ってくれるそうで、これが生ゴミからの水分を吸収するので、後は専用の袋に入れて捨てるだけ。
My cousin has at least four different garbage cans and the government give them shaving so that water from the garbage can be soaked and put in a bag to put out the garbage.

スーパーに買い物に行くと、使えるプラスチック容器や、ペットボトルなどの分別はもちろんのこと、お買い物袋を利用しない人にはスタンプを押され、それが20回たまると100円引きだそうで。最近ではプラスチックバッグの製造には二酸化炭素がたくさん発生するからということでプラスチックバッグを使うのではなく、マイエコバッグなどを持ち歩いて協力する人も増えてきている。主婦も節約ができて、環境にも優しいという賢いシステム。
この先はこのスーパーの袋は有料になるらしい。節約という事と同時に、みんなが環境を意識できる街づくりをしていきたいですね！
People keep plastic bottle and plates, which you get when you buy meat and fish from a supermerket, and bring them back to a shop for recycling. If we don't use plastic bags when we buy something, we get a point then we will get $1 discount when we get 20 point. In the near future, those plastic bags will be paid. So many people now bring their own bag (ECO BAG).
I feel like the way of Japanese thinking for the Eco is bit different from the US especially Wisconsin. If they(Japanese) can save money they will try to do for ECO.... more than thinking about Eco.Well eitherway it helps I guess... I really hope that more people realize that we should think about Eco system more!
