秋から冬へ！Winter has begun!

 １週間も風邪で家にずっといた二人。ようやく回復気味だったので久しぶりに公園へ。Finn has been sick for a week finally he is getting better so we decided to go to the park in town.

めっちゃ久しぶりやったからその分いっぱい遊んだ。Both boys enjoyed so much being outside though it was pretty cold.

やっぱりお外はええなぁ～Oh we love playing out side!

翌日。外は真っ白。 今シーズン本格的な雪が降ったのは初めて。（１１月１１日）Following day .(11/11)

それでもお外は気持ちがいい～！We love playing out side!

ハロウィーン ２０１３ Halloween 2013

さ、出動！Today is the day! Let's go!!

 
さて最初に訪れたのは白雪姫と七人の小人達。 毎年テーマを変えて地元の学校が主催してます。Pleasant ridge students took us to the snow white world in the wood!
 
手作りクッキーや宝石に見せかけたカラフルな石やらもちろん白雪姫のりんごをもらいました！They gave us some home made cookies, little Jewels and apple!  

ダディー？？！！（Byキイ）奈良のお友達のりゅうちゃんにもらった緑の大仏はダディークロービスです。多くの人が、子供たちのコスチューム以上にこのブッダ（大仏さん）サイコー！と声をかけてくれてました。りゅうちゃんのセンスはすごい。Daddy??(by Kii) Our friend Ryu from Nara that is famous for the big buddha is gave us this awesome Buddha mask! Everyone loved it! 

さ、次はいよいよお目当てのキャンディー！毎年ビロクアの町のメインストリートにお店の人たちがこうして次々来る仮装した子供達にお菓子を配ってくれています。 みんなの仮装を見るのもとっても楽しい！Next is down town main street walking! Many shop had candies for kids! It's always fun to see other people's costume!

今回はお友達のケイティーが手術をしてまもなくあまり動けなかったのでケイティーの大好きな行事のハロウィーンは一緒にと、旦那さんが計画を立ててくれました。Our friend Katie had a surgery recently so her sweet husband Aaron planed our gathering for her.

デコレーションもいろいろこってます。It's fun to see house decoration too! 



トリック　オア　トリート　と、フィンも今年はやや大きな声で言えるようになりました！キイは　トリック（いたずら）を通り越して’トリート’（お菓子～） ってひたすら言ってました！
ケイティーも車椅子に乗ってフィンやキイと一緒に近所をまわることができてとっても喜んでくれました！Trick or treat!!! I remember Finn's said so quietly last year but this year, it was very clear and he also said thank you after he got candies. Kii only said Trea(t) He is more straight!


 ケイティーのおうちにもたくさんお菓子を用意して、仮装してくる子供達を迎えます！エレン、ギターを持ち出して、子供達と歌を歌いだしました！みんなのりのりです！Aaron is such a fun guy! He grabbed his guitar and played a song with the kids who just came to get some candies! 

うわ～ほんといっぱいもらったなー。ちなみにこのキャンディー、うちではフィンやキイのおなかの中には入らず、１年近くおもちゃとして使用されるか、たま～にママ、ダディーのおなかへと迷い込んできます。Wow so many candies!!!! By the way, the candies will be toys for Finn and Kii for close to a year or sometimes goes into mommie or mainly daddy's tummy! We are so glad that Katie got to go around her house with us and we really hope she got over soon. Happy Halloween!!!

ジャックオーランタン Jack o Lantan

お友達のノアちゃんがジャックオーランタン作りに誘ってくれたのでお邪魔してきました。Our friend Noa invited us for making  Jack o' lantern !

大きなかぼちゃには種もいーーーーっぱい。これを乾かしてオーブンで焼き、シーソルトをかけて食べるとなんともおいしいおつまみになります！ Wow it has so many seeds! We can dry and bake them and sprinkle some sea salt. It's really nice snack!!

わ～い！みんなそれぞれかわいいのできた！これでハロウィーンの準備もバッチリ！ Everyone had fun and we are ready for Halloween! Thanks Noa, Sara and Zac! We had a lot of fun!

さ、ファームでは薪割りです。 フィンもパマも一日中一緒に遊べるのでとっても嬉しそう！あれあれみつめあっちゃってーーー！！This time of year, we do wood cutting for our wood stove on the farm. Finn and Pema are so happy because they can play all day long while adults are cutting woods.


キイは二人を追いかけようといつも必死ですが、、、Kii always try to catch them up


てやんで～ but sometimes it doesn't work.
 
 Wood heats us twice! 薪は体を二度あたためる。なるほどねーーー！


ノアちゃんのお家で作ったばかりだからかファームにあった大きなかぼちゃを見るとまたまたジャックオーランタンが作りたくなったらしい。They decided to make more Jack o' Lantern.


じゃーん！第二弾！

 今度こそ準備満タン！Now we are really ready for Halloween!

今年最後のキャンプかな？！Last camp of 2013

どんぐりころころどんぐりこ~今年の秋は比較的暖かく、１０月も２週目というのに、キャンプに出掛けることができました！最低気温が１０度を切ったらキャンプはしないというのが我が家のルール。It was warm fall. We got to go for camp trip the second week of October!! We have a rule that we don't go for camping if the lowest temperature is below 50F.
 
今回はミシシッピ川沿いのTrempealeau。川の近くということで夏は蚊が心配なところですが、ここまで涼しくなれば心配無用！急に決めたキャンプだったので川沿いのキャンプサイトは既に予約で埋まっていたけど、こんなに素敵なメープルの木があるキャンプサイトをゲット！ あれ、さっそく誰かころ～んとしてますが。We went to Trempealeau area. It is great in summer but always there are so many mosquitoes but this time of the year is perfect! The camp sites that has a river view were already booked but look, we had such a great yellow tree at our camp! ?? someone is laying down??!!

そしてサンセットどきのカヌー。線路が通ってるのでボーイズ達はとってもうきうき！ Oh canoeing, was one of the most relaxed trips we ever did with kids!

ハイキングトレイルは登り下りがあり、大人でもこ１時間はかかる。Hiking trail is quite long way but Kii and Finn did great job!


 てっぺんまで行くとこーんな景色が！ボーイズ達二人ともがんばったぞー！Wow it is spectacular!


この後の下りはキイはダディーのバックパックでぐっすり。フィンは最後まで１人で頑張った！わぁ予想以上に頑張った。息子よ～いつの間にかこんなに強くなったんやな～On the way down, Kii was sleeping in a backpack on daddy's back but Finn made it to the end!
 
さ、サイクリングだー！Biking time! They look like a couple!

この辺はサイクリングコースが整備されてるし自然も保護されてて、快適快適！Go daddy go! 


ボーイズ達は何かと面白いものを見つけてきます。僕達ボートにのってるのー。Look! we are on a boat! Their imagination is so great!


いろんなことにチャレンジして Sometimes they try so hard but 



私達を楽しませてくれてます！あ～また来年までサヨナラキャンプ！if it doesn't work out they say "Daddy!! " Good bye camping for a while!

2013年紅葉の旅 The color trip in 2013

 
ことしも１０月の上旬は紅葉の旅行にやってきました！６時間のドライブをしてウィスコンシンのイーグルリバーというところにやってきました。サンセットぎりぎり間に合いそうだったのでさっそくカヌー。We made it! We drove up North. It took us 6 hours to get here in Eagle river Wisconsin! Sun was just about going down and quickly we took a canoe ride.


フィンはグランマグランパとボートに。

キャビンからはこんな素敵なレイクビューが楽しめます。The cabins we rented have a wonderful view.

子供たちの遊び場もあり、１歳から９０歳までの年齢を持つ私達のグループにはほんとぴったりでした。And community play area. We are from 1 year old to 90 year old group so it was perfect place!
 
おばあちゃんおじいちゃんも乗れるようにと大きなボートをレンタルして湖と紅葉を堪能。We took a boat trip all together!

キイはちょっと不安そう。でもみてみて！Baby Kii was bit nervous but look!

あ～楽しかった～　暖かいフロリダから来たローロとおばあちゃんにはちょっと寒かったかなー。It was bit cold for someone who live in Florida,,,.
 
キイと一緒に見つけた白樺の木の皮。キイが絵具で色塗りして松の葉っぱで線路を作ってみました！Kii loves tunnel. We found this piece of tree birch  and right away he said 'Tunnel'! We made a train truck with pine needles!
 
Tunnel!  トンネル大好き！トンネルみたいに見えるものすべてがトンネルになっちゃうのだ。との～～～～って言いながらくぐりぬけてます。

 さて、さらに北上してミシガン州のスペリオル湖付近までやってきました。We decided to drive up to Porcupine in upper Michigan area.

 川はスペリオル湖へとつながっています。We took a hike along the river. The water goes into lake Superior!
 
 とっても素敵なハイキング。階段の上り下りもたくさんあったけど、フィンはずっと歩きました！

海のように大きなスペリオル湖。フィン、石を抱えて木に正座。ただただ湖を眺めてます。It looks like ocean! Finn was meditating sitting on the log holding a rock.

 

そして最後にやってきたのがここ！ And after that, here is the spot!

何度か来た事あるけど、変わらず素敵なところでした！Lake of the cloud! It was absolutely gorgeous!

この時期はジョージとシダローズの誕生日があり、いつもみんなでお祝いします。 We celebrated Grandpa George and Cedarose's birthday together!

父と娘一緒にろうそくを消します。Dad and daughter blowing the candle together!

今年も素敵な旅行になりました！ Oh we had such a great color trip all together!
