人生の一大イベント二度目の出産無事終了ーーー！！
予定日は５月２０日。２週間も早くご対面できるとはラッキー！

５月４日から５日までお友達がお家にお泊りに来ていました。
お友達が帰った後、おかたづけをしている４時半ぐらいに破水に気付き助産婦さんへ連絡。フィンをグランパが迎えに来てくれてファームに預けることができたので心配なく病院への準備もできました。陣痛はまだ始まっていなかったので病院へは夜の８時に行って助産婦さんが赤ちゃんの様子を確認後、明日になっても陣痛が始まらなければ促進剤を使おうかなんてプランを立てているとすこーしずつ軽い陣痛のようなものが。でもこの２カ月ぐらいはこんなの毎晩当たり前で、これが本格的な陣痛につながるかどうかはわからにけど、とりあえず病院にそのままステイ。１１時ぐらいになるとだんだん強くなって規則性が出てきた。あら？これって始まり？！まあ、とにかく時計とにらめっこ。１０分から１５分間隔から見事に８分、６分、５分、２時半ぐらいになるころには３分から４分おきに。じゃあ、おとなりの分娩室に移動しましょっか、ということで陣痛の合間を縫って移動。だんだん陣痛を耐えるのがきつくなってきたー、２時半に打った抗生物質（ベイビーが産道を通る時にバクテリアに感染しないためにうった）が効き始めるのが４５分後だから３時１５分以降になったらいきみを開始できるなーなんてひそかに思いながら耐えて耐えて。安産のお友達から聞いていたコツ、’ぎりぎりまで待つ、時が来たら体が自然にわかる’ってことで、その時を待つ。３時３０分ごろ、なんとなくそんな気がしたから分娩台に上がり、ベイビーと共に力を振り絞る。なんとそこから約２０分３時５３分にベイビーは私の胸の上。うわーフィンの時は８時間のプッシュだったぞーーー！今回は１分１秒をじっくり味わえた感動の出産となりました。予定日だった５月２０日にはグランマの６０歳のサプライズパーティーもあって日にちも重なるし、、、、なんて思ってたり、１日前にエコーをとってもらったらすでに３２５０グラムぐらいなんて言ってたから予定日までお腹にいたら大きくなって大変だ、、、なんて心配をしていたり、破水の後、促進剤を使わないといけないのかな、、、なんて思ってたり。こんなママの心配をこのベイビーは一気に取り除いてくれました！もちろんいつも支えてくれるクロービスや、フィン、その他周りの人の応援もすべてに感謝。そして自然界ではスーパームーンという地球と月が一番近づく珍しい満月だったらしく、陣痛の合間、しっかり大きなまんまるお月さまを見ることができました！亡くなった父の誕生日の１日前ってのも、なんだか父が助けてくれたような気持ちになりました。We did it! It was so smooth and perfect timing for everything. We had our friends over on the Friday the 4th and had a wonderful time together. Next day after they left, while we were cleaning up our kitchen around 4:30, my water broke. Grandpa George came to pick up Finn so we didn't have to worry about Finn while I am in labor. My contraction hadn't started yet so we went to the hospital around 8PM. We decided to stay in the hospital just in case. around 9 :30 I was getting very weak contraction but I have been getting like this weak ones for a couple of month so I wasn't sure if my contraction would became active. Then around 11PM it became stronger and constantly. Well, I think this is the pattern I supposed to get. I was holding my watch and checking the time between the contractions. 8min 6min, 5min and 3min so we moved to the labor room around 2:30. The friend who just visited us told her wonderful birth experience and gave me a great ideas about how I should do. One of the thing that she said was Wait until you really feel it. You will feel it very naturally. 3:30 my body told me to push so I started. in 20 min later, baby Kii was on my chest! Wow I pushed Finn for 8 hours but 20min for Kii??!! This time I ENJOYED the labor. I mean birth is a lot of work but I am so happy to share the time with my little Kii and of course my family. Baby Kii knew the timing and he made everything so smooth! And it was the supper full moon day!! 2 weeks early birth. Kii was already 7lb and 2.5oz. It would have been harder if he came on the due date (5/20) I am sure my dad, who passed on 3 years ago, helped us too. Kii was born just one day before my dad's birthday (5/7).

フィンとキイ。どっちがどっちでしょう？！生まれたてってみんなはれぼったく出てくるね。二人ともあんな細い産道をよく通り抜けてきてくれたわー 生まれたての二人の顔は両親の私たちでもちょっと迷ってしまうぐらいそっくりです。We parents even can't tell which one is which from their newborn photos sometimes! Can you tell which one is Baby Kii?!
