ミネアポリス！Minneapolis

5/31はメモリアルデーでもあり、アメリカでは3連休。まず初めの日は、お友達のウェディングへとミネアポリスまで出かけました！土曜日なのでもちろん アーミッシュドーナッツのベーカリーへ寄ってから。先日会えなかったいつも店番をしているアーミッシュの女の子に久し振りに会ったのでついつい長話。なにやら、知り合いの赤ちゃんが癌を持っているらしく、メキシコまでスペシャルケアをしに行っていたとか。http://www.gerson.org/ 癌細胞を適切な食べ物によって治していくというナチュラル治療に、最低限の化学療法を組み入れるという。もちろんアーミッシュ達は飛行機を使わないので、アムトラックなどの地上交通機関を使って。おっ と、そろそろ出発しないと！！Memorial day weekend. We went to Minneapolis for our friends wedding. It was Saturday. Of course we stopped by the Amish bakery to get our favorite doughnuts! Our favorite Amish friend was there. She said she went to Mexico with a baby who has cancer to get special treatment. You may know about Gerson clinic. http://www.gerson.org/ Amish don't take air planes so she went by Amtrak. Wow it mush have been a long journey! Oops we have to go now!

気温は30度近くまで上がり、ウィスコンシンやミネソタ州ではめったにない気候となった。ミシシッピ川を走るハイウェーは本当に景色がきれい！It was around 90 F!!! Clear sky wow it's beautiful day!
4時間のドライブを経てようやく到着したのはミネアポリスのダウンタウン。ミネアポリスはすぐに郊外の緑あふれる風景が広がるのでアメリカの都市の中で私の中ではかなりお気に入り。After 4 hour driving we finally arrived down town Minneapolis! Minneapolis is one of my favorite city in the US. Lots of green surroundings!
おっと！自転車をこぎながらのバー。昨年の団体アクティビティーに入れようか迷ったんだけど。昨年はセグウェーツアーを取り入れました。Oh!!! Moving bar!! We were thinking about doing this with Japanese group last summer but we choose segway tour. This also looks fun!!
うわ～懐かしい！ Yes this is the Segway tour! Wow it has been almost 1 year!!

ぎりぎりで式に間に合った！モダンな感じの結婚式でかっこよかった～！We were just barely on time!!! It was a nice modern wedding!

夜中1時過ぎまで披露宴、ダンスパーティーと続きとっても素敵なウェディングでした！
All three of us (clovis, me and the baby in my belly) partied until 1 AM!! It was another wonderful wedding!!
