ウィスコンシンで嬉しい事の一つはたくさんのベリーに囲まれている事！今は毎日毎日ラズベリーが次々と赤みを増して私の日課の中の一つにラズベリー摘みが入っています！One of the great things in Wisconsin is we have lots of berries!! At the moment, we have Raspberries everyday!! Picking raspberries became one of my chores!
前回は女性に嬉しいラズベリーの葉っぱのティーをご紹介しましたが、今日はラズベリーの実を使ったデザート！Last time I was talking about the leaf but this time I made cake with the berries!!
このケーキには、２センチ四方ぐらいに切ったスポンジ、つい先週までわんさかなっていたイチゴ、そして今回のラズベリーにカスタードクリームをのせ、その上に（これはお好みなんだけど）生クリームを！スポンジケーキに充分甘みがあるので、今回はフルーツには甘さを加えず、生クリームにちょこっとウィスコンシン産メープルシロップを混ぜてみました！お好みでラム酒等を入れてもおいしい！酸味と甘み。甘すぎずが好みの私はかなりはまりました！何よりシーズンものはおいしいですね～～～～！ Before I moved to Wisconsin, I didn't like whipping cream so much. When I was a child I couldn't eat cake with whipping cream. But somehow, since I came here I realized how delicious it is!!! It's so fresh taste and I really like it! This cake has sponge, strawberry Raspberry, custard cream and whipping cream. (Whipping cream is an optional) Since sponge is already quite sweet I didn't put any sugar in berries. I put only little bit of maple syrup which is also from Wisconsin. If you like you can add little ram. It is not too sweet so you can enjoy the taste of berry!
私は昔生クリームがとっても苦手で、ショートケーキなども食べませんでした。が、何故かこの酪農の盛んなウィスコンシンに来てからというもの、生クリームの味がこんなにおいしいものなのか！というぐらいびっくりしてそれ以来とってもファンになりました！毎日シーズン物のおいしいものに囲まれて、幸せ～～～！I am enjoying the seasonal food here!!! It's a wonderful life!!!
