マウイに来る前に2週間、学生時代からのお友達マキのお家でお世話になった。今回は、彼女がマウイへ2週間やってきた！Maki and I are friends since collage! She visited us for 2 weeks on Maui!
日本から離れているので学生時代のお友達と会えるのは本当に貴重！I don't have so many chances to spend with my old friends as I am away from Japan. But those 2 weeks, It was so nice to be with her!
マキは11年間エアロビクスやヨガのインストラクターで活躍した。ここでもやっぱりヨガは欠かさない！She used to be an aerobics and Yoga instructor for 11 years. Of course, she can't live without doing it! マウイの観光も要所を押さえてっと。西マウイドライブ It was her first tropical vacation. I bet she did most of the things to do on Maui except whale watching. ( She gets sea sick easily.,,,, ) but we saw a couple of Whales from our garden!
〇ラハイナの街 Town of Lahaina
海でスノーケルをやった事のなかったまきはお家のプールでまずは練習。その後海へスノーケル。ウミガメも2匹も現れて、サンゴ礁もとってもきれいでした！She had never done snorkeling before so she practiced in the swimming pool then we took her to one of the best snorkeling spot on Maui!
We saw 2 sea turtles and lots of coral!
ハレアカラ山 この日はちょっと雲がかかってました。 Haleakala, it was bit cloudy.
ヌーディービーチ Naked beach!

パイヤの街 Town of Paia
ハナハイウェイドライビングとキャンプ Hana highway driving and camping
イアオ渓谷 Iao Valley
ハワイでこうして一緒にのんびり時を過ごせるのは最高だね！It was a wonderful 2 week!!2010年1月25日～2月5日
