私たちもまずは腹ごしらえ！ということで、ご近所さんのアイリーンお勧めのポルケッタというイタリアのサンドウィッチをご賞味。、、、ほっぺた落ちます。このお店は朝からマーケットが終わるまで行列を作っているんですって。食べる価値あり！パンもフレッシュでおいし～～～Irene's favorite Italian sandwiches are called 'porketta'. Grilled pork sandwiches!! It is so tasty!!

途中でレモンの香りのする不思議なフルーツに出くわしたのでパチリ。これは装飾に使うぐらいだそうだけど、ほのかなレモンの香りはなかなかいい感じ！What are these??!! It has nice lemon aroma but it is not for eating.
屋内に入っているお店は毎日営業。ここはきのこの専門店で、きのこを育てるキットが＄２０位で売ってた。Mushroom shop. You can buy a kit and grow your own mushrooms!!
おっと、カリフォルニアでもファームから直送のお野菜ボックス（ＣＳＡ）やってる！でもやっぱりお値段はウィスコンシンよりかなりお高い。仕方ないっか～土地も高いしね～。They also have CSA box here in San Francisco. Oh,,,, it is quite expensive compare to Wisconsin,,, but land is more expensive here.
お？さすがにメキシカンの色が濃いカリフォルニア。ホームメイドトルティーヤを作っている！California has a lot of Mexican culture too. They are making home made tortillas!!
お腹一杯だけど、とりあえず味見しておかないと！！We were full, but we had to taste them!!
結局３時間ぐらいかけてじっくり見てしまった。ファーマーズマーケットっていついっても楽しいな～ついでに、メキシカンの食材等が売っているチェーンのスーパーにも行ってみた。お客さんもほぼスペイン語を話す人達ばかり！It took us almost 3 hours to look around. Farmer's markets are always fun to go to! We also went to a Mexican supermarket. Most of the customers were talking in Spanish!!
あ～これこれ！メキシコでホームステイした時、お孫さんの誕生日会にこういう人形がぶら下がってって、それを棒でバシバシたたくと中からお菓子がでてきたの思い出した！でも棒で人形をばしばしたたくところはちょっと怖かったけど、、、。I remember these!! When I was staying with my Mexican host family in Mexico, they had their grand daughter's birthday. They put this doll up high and the grand daughter hit it with a long bar strongly then lots of candies came out from the doll!! It was bit scary to see a little girl hitting her doll though,,,.
いやはや、これまた充実しました！Another great day!!
