サンフランシスコ到着！Arrived in San Francisco!!

とうとうサンフランシスコへ向かう！Colfaxからアムトラックが運営するバスでカリフォルニアの州都のサクラメントまで行き、そこから列車に乗り換えてバークレイ大学に近いEmeryvilleという駅まで行く。
Finally we are heading to San Francisco!! We took a bus run by Amtrak to Sacramento then took a train to Emeryville!

お～～近づいてきたみたい！Oh~~~~ we are nearly there!!
学生時代からのお友達のまきとどちゃんがお迎えに来てくれた！何ともありがたい！ｸﾛｰﾋﾞｽはこれからボーイズ達とロッククライミングの旅にヨセミテ、そしてラスベガス付近のレッドロックというところへ向かうのでしばしお別れ。私はまきとどちゃんのお宅に２週間ほどお世話になり、サンフランシスコ生活を少々送る事に！A good friend of mine Maki picked me up at the station. Clovis will go for a rock climbing trip with his childhood buddies. (Yosemite, then Red rock canyon [near Las Vegas])
ベイブリッジ！Bay Bridge!! サンフランシスコのダウンタウン付近を通りすぎる。サンセットの時間でとってもきれい！We are passing by down town San Francisco!! It's beautiful with sun set!!
車もいっぱいだ～～～。サンフランシスコは丘が連なり、そこにはたくさんのハウスが並ぶ。Of course there were a lot of cars. San Francisco has a lot of hills and many houses.この先サンフランシスコそしてその近辺は少しずつみて行くとして今日はまっすぐマキトドちゃん達のお家へ。するとこんなかわいらしい警告サインが！！Look! It is so cute!!

家に着くと早速ワインとチーズを用意してくれたマキトドちゃん！中でもフランスパンの中にクリームチーズとバターでいためた枝豆とエビ、そしてくりぬいたパンの中身をミックスしてフランスパンに詰めたというこった一品はマキトドちゃんの手作り。おいし～～～！Maki prepared Wine and cheese etc. Especially the snacks she made were very good! She made a whole in french bread and mixed shredded shrimps and Edamame with butter, cream cheese and put them inside of the bread!
何とも嬉しい日本食！しかも秋の味覚松茸！！松茸ご飯にホイル焼き！！その他トン汁やホッケ等等ウィスコンシンでは非常に難しいお食事を用意してくれていました！！She cooked Japanese dinner for me. Matsutake mushrooms Especially made me feel like it's a Japanese fall! We can't get it in Wisconsin!! I enjoyed the dinner so much!!
松茸。しかもでっかい！サンフランシスコには日本食材のスーパーもたくさんあってまるで日本見たい！お値段は少々お高いけどこれだけそろったら問題ないね～San Francisco has many Japanese grocery shops. It is like in japan!!
