Fish Fry フィッシュフライ！

金曜日はフィッシュフライ（イギリスで言うフィッシュアンドチップスイギリスでチップスというとポテトフライの事で、ポテトチップスはクリスプスと言う）の日。カトリックの人たちは金曜日はお肉を食べない日なので、この日はお魚を食べたという事で、金曜日というと、’フィッシュフライ’を食べに行く日が多い。特に宗教に関係なく、フィッシュフライを楽しむ人々は多い！レストランも金曜日のスペシャルはフィッシュフライ！今日は金曜日。みなみちゃんとファミリーで人口300人ほどの小さな小さな町のパブレストランにフィッシュフライを食べに行きました。このパブは100年ほどの歴史がある！！

Friday is the fish fry day!!　Cathartic people don't eat meat on Friday so they eat fish instead. Even though many people are not cathartic, Fish fry is a Wisconsin tradition for everybody.　We went to the pub restaurant in the tiny town (300 people) of Chaseburg.

まだまだ明るい夏の夜。ジョージとジェーンのファームを見学することに！It doesn't get dark until late night so we visited Jane and George's farm and they showed Minami around their farm!
ジェーンは大の馬好き！Jane loves horses!
ジェーンの野菜ガーデンを案内してもらいました！ She showed Minami around her garden too.
数週間前にご紹介したタバコもすくすく育っています！Look the Tobacco plants are getting bigger!!!Do you remember I showed a picture of them to you a week or so ago?!
だんだん暗くなると何やら周りにたくさん光るものが！！
when it got darker we noticed lots of little things like Xmas lights around....
そうです。蛍！Yes! Fire Flies!!
見てください！光を放った瞬間！ん～～～我ながら上出来な写真！！！
沢山のホタルに囲まれて素敵な夏を過ごしています！！
みなみちゃんは蛍を実際に見たのは初めて！と大感動！！！
Look!! the Fire Flies are flashing their lights!! It 's so great to see them in Wisconsin, it's a sign of summer!!
It was the first time Minami saw Fire Flies in her life!!!
