コロラド旅行その２ Colorado trip part 2

 さて、コロラドマーブルを出発し、温泉があるスキーリゾートのスティームボートへと車を約４時間走らせます。We left Marble and drove through rocky mountains to Steam Boat about 4 hours.

 ロッキーな山々を堪能。川が流れていると更にええかんじ。Mountains and rivers are so gorgeous!

さっそく温泉施設のプールへと。 今夜の宿泊は道路を渡ったすぐそこのモーテル。あ～ええきもち～。Here we are!! HOT SPRING!!

ちびちゃんたちのプールもあります。最近はホテルの決定はこのプールがあるかどうかで選択される事が多い我が家です。a Kiddy pool is important for our trip.

ダディーあれやって！！Daddy, do that!!!

なんとロッククライミングまでありました！Wow even rock climbing!!!!




スティームボートの町中にはリゾート地らしいレストランやお店が立ち並びます。川沿いのレストランにてみんなでディナーを頂きまーす！食事中、川沿いに走る電車が通ってボーイズたちは大興奮！We had nice dinner in town. The restaurant have a river view and train track! And we hard Choo Choo----!!! Wow it was an extra bonus!


翌朝グランマグランパが町でお買い物中、ダディーはお仕事でテレフォン会議、ボーイズをつれてお隣にある大きな公園へ。Grandma Grandpa went for shopping in town and Daddy had to attend a meeting on the phone so we decided to go for biking at a park next to our Motel.

トンネルやら線路やらとボーイズ達が大好きなものが次々と。and a tunnel and train track. Boys loved it!


町を出る前にスキーのチェアリフトに乗ってみることに。Chair lift ride!


わー長ーい滑り台だ！！and look! It's a long slide!

フィンは怖がってチェアリフトでまた下ったけどキイはやる気満々！Who get to go for the ride?! 'I do!' Kii said 'No thank you!' Finn said.

 いってらっしゃーい！Hold on tight! Bye bye~~~ Have fun~!



乗馬をやる人も見かけられたり、山に囲まれた風景を見降ろすのは最高でした! some people were riding horses!

 さ、最終地はシダローズがメディテーションに励んでいる土地、レッドフェザーへやってきました。久しぶりの再会！そして人生お初のコーンドック。食事後なのにボーイズ達一本ずつたいらげました！And about 3 hours driving, we arrived in Red feather to visit Auntie Cedarose! Boys had their first corn dog in their life. Oh it was good! They said!

 ミニハイキングをして最後のコロラドの夜を満喫しました！Oh it is so nice being in mountains!

 ここからまたウィスコンシンまで２日かけてドライブです！だんだん山が見えなくなり、平野をずっと走りつずけました！今年も楽しい旅をありがとう！They we drove home back to Wisconsin. It was such a wonderful trip to Colorado!

コロラドで一番大好きなところ！ Our favorite place to visit in Colorado!

コロラドで一番好きなところ。お兄さん夫婦の住むマーブルコロラドへ今年の夏もやってきました！車で約２１時間。到着まで途中２泊しながらたどりつきました。長かったけど素晴らしいロッキーマウンテンに囲まれたコロラドはアメリカの中でも山好きにはたまらないところです！Our favorite place to visit in Colorado is Ellamae's house in Marble! We drove from Wisconsin about 21 hours total ( we stayed at hotels 2 nights on the way here) and finally we arrived this beautiful place!


６月下旬に生まれたベイビーサムナー。新しい従弟が増えてより一層にぎやかに。We got to meet Baby Sumner who was born in June!
 
 赤ちゃんの泣き声。懐かしい。でもまたこんな日が来るのも遠くない。He is a cutie pie! Chrissy calls him 'beef cake'!

 お家も素敵だし。We spent at their beautiful house!

エレメイちゃんのお部屋はダディーが作ったロフト風のベットにブランコがあり、子供が好きそうなスペースにキッチンやブックコーナーがあったりでフィンもキイもおおはしゃぎ。Wow Hawkins and Chrissy built this nice loft and bed in Ellamae's room! Little kitchen and book corner! It's a perfect kid's room!


 
子供たちもすっかり仲良し。Oh they are inseparable cousins! 

 素敵なバルコニーにてリラックスタイム。And we had nice and relaxed time on their balcony!

まさに山のど真ん中。標高約2400ｍです。It's 8000ft! They have the best view we don't have to go anywhere!

キイはアンクルホーキンズのジープを見るや否や’ジープ！と指差しておおはしゃぎ。When we arrived their house, as soon as Kii saw uncle Hawkins' Jeep, he pointed out it and said 'Jeeeeeeeeep!!!'

行ってらっしゃーい！ His dream came true!



 お次は近くの川へ。アンクルホーキンズのフォーウィラーでクルーズ It's beach time! And Four-wheeler ?!  Uncle has everything!

 
 フィンもキイも将来こうやって仲良いブラザーズになっていくのね～ the Brothers!

 今度は自分たちので！They were inspired by Hawkins.
 
どうやらグランマがトラウトを釣ったみたい！Grandma caught a trout!

ようやく僕の番！エレメイちゃんとラブラブおやつタイム！It's my turn! by Kii

さ、滝を見に行こうとミニハイキング。We went for little hiking.

 足元は安定しない石でぎっしりだけどちび達もみんな滝にたどりつけました！ To see the water fall!


今回お泊まりのエレメイちゃんのお家から１０分ぐらい下ったところのバケーションハウス。This is at a vacation house we stayed.

みんなきゃはははあ笑いが止まりません！We all had so much fun and giggled a lot!



 
マーブルに４泊した最後の夜は満月に近いお月さまを見ながらお庭でキャンプファイヤー。楽しい日々をありがとう！残り数泊のコロラドの旅へと続く！We had camp fire with a beautiful moon in their yard for our last night in Marble. Thank you so much Hawkins, Chrissy, Ellamae and Sumner we will miss you all!

Deirdre and Paul's wedding in Madison. It was such a beautiful day! お友達のウェディング、とっても素敵な日になりました！ 

 

 ボーイズたちもちょっとおめかし。Country boys were dressed up!

 あ、、、、さっそく砂を見つけて遊んでるわ、、、。They know how to get themselves dirty!

 屋外だったのでいろんなアクティビティーも用意してくれて楽しく過ごせました。We love outdoor party!

 シャボン玉、かなりはまってます。Blowing Bubble is cool!!

 さ、この後はダンスパーティーだ！！Let's dance!!

ロマンチックB&B Justin Trail in Sparta

 お友達が毎年開くミュージックフェスティバルビッグ　ピッグ　ディッグに今年も行ってきました！ステージでのバンドの音楽はみんなとっても素敵でした。Our friend's annual big music party The Big Pig Dig 2014!

この日はおちび達をグランマグランパに預け、ウェディングギフトでお友達からもらった宿泊券でB&Bにお泊まりです！We got to stay at Justin Trail B&B in Sparta. It was a wedding gift from our friends!

 お部屋にジャクジー付き。 Hot tab in the room! Oh we loved it!

久しぶりの二人だけの時間！ It was probably the first time to stay somewhere without boys after we had Finn!

 B&Bのお楽しみは朝食。オーナーさん夫婦が愛情込めて作ってくださいます。Break fast is one of the highlights!

 ゆっくりたっぷり朝食を頂きました！We had nice and slow moment together and were so stuffed!

 さ、ちび達がいないから今日はちょっといつもよりアドベンチャー！ということで流れがある川にてカヌー。ところが流れが早くオールが折れてしまうほどでした！！！一時はどうなる事やらと思ったけど、なんとかたどりついて良かった～。スリル満点でした！Then we decided to go for canoeing at black river fall! It was our first white water canoe trip! Look! It was too fun!

Happy Independence day!

ラクロス　リバーフェスティバル。７月４日独立記念日に開かれます。ボーイズたちのお目当てはこれ。Happy Independence day! Boys and I went to the river festival in La Crosse. Of course to ride the train!

年に１度。しばらく恒例イベントになりそうです！ Once a year, enjoy boys!

 そして夜はビロクアの町の花火！去年までは音が怖くて遠くで見るしかできなかったけど今年はボーイズたちぜんぜん大丈夫でした！Fireworks! This year, boys were not so afraid of the sound!
