グランパ６０歳の誕生日Grandpa George 60th Birthday dinner!

ぼく、グランパの６０歳の誕生日プレゼント作ってるの。I am working on making a present for Grandpa George's 60th birthday present!
 
We collected many leaves during the color trip for it! 紅葉の旅行でいっぱい落ち葉拾って

写真たてをデコレーション。 I decorated the photo flame.

グランパだーいすき！グランパこんなことまでできちゃうの。I love grandpa George so much. He is so fun and look, he can do like this,

うわーグランパ、すげーーーWow Grandpa, you are awesome!
 
僕をいっつもこうやってだっこしてくれるし。and he cuddles me!!!

グランパもグランパのママが大好き。５５年後、僕とママもこんな感じになるといいなーGrandpa George loves his mom Grandma Siemon! I and my mom will be like this in 55 years!

グランマは８９歳。フロリダからグランパジョージの誕生日を祝いに来てくれました！She is 89 years old came from Florida celebrating grandpa George's 60th birthday with our family!

 誕生日おめでとーグランパ！いつも素敵なグランパでいてくれてありがとう！
Happy birthday Grandpa George! Thank you so much for being such a great grandpa and father.

秋の紅葉ファミリー旅行！ The family fall trip!

毎年恒例の秋の紅葉ファミリー旅行。今回も０歳から８９歳までみんなで４泊、この湖の畔の大きなキャビンで宿泊！ the family annual color trip! 2012 we came around Rice lake area in Wisconsin.

木のお家！a Tree house

トランポリーンもお庭にありました。 and it has a trampoline too!

ダイニングのすぐ隣階段の下には子供のおもちゃスペース。かなり便利。 This is Kid's play area just next to the dining table it was very convenient for us too!

さ、この日はポンツゥーンボートを借りて湖巡り！キャプテンフィン、運転よろしくーーー！We rented a pontoon boat!

 きもち～～～～～～！Oh, feels soooo goooood!!!

メインから離れると静か～なバックウォーター。鳥の声とともに紅葉を満喫！We loved the backwater cruise and birdwatching!!

 フィンはトンネルや橋がだーいすき！Finn loves tunnel even it is just under the bridge.

ボートの上でベイビーキイとはしゃぐフィン。 Baby Kii and Finn are good friends and brothers!

最近すごくハイキングが大好きになったフィン。そしてキイもハイキング中はほとんど起きて木をずっと眺めて楽しんでます！ Finn became a big fan of Hiking! And baby Kii also loves to see trees.

ぐらんぱのボートでフィッシング！Fishing by grandpa's boat!

 つれるかなーー Come on fish!

小さかったけど一匹だけ連れてほっとするぐらんぱ。魚見せなかったらいったい何してるのか理解できない２歳児。よかったね。Great! Grandpa caught one! Now Finn finally knows what we are doing.

 フィンが魚釣りしてるうちにキイと私達は３人でカヌーを楽しみました！While they are enjoying fishing we went for canoe trip with Baby Kii!

 みんなに抱っこされて幸せなキイでした！あー楽しかったー！Oh it is great everyone loves to hold me!!!

４時間ほどのドライブを経ておうちに帰ってきたけどまだ時間があったので近くのパークにカヌーをしに行きました！お初の家族みずいらずカヌーとなりました！フィン、漕いでる！！After we came home we still had a little time so we went to a park by our house for another canoeing trip! This time, Finn paddled!! It was our first canoeing only four of us!!!!

ベーグル Bagel

今週末は毎年恒例の秋の紅葉の旅行にファミリー９人で行くのでその時のための朝食用のベーグルをたっくさん焼きました。シナモンレーズンにWe are going for fall color trip this week so I baked many Bagels!! Cinnamon raisin and
 
Blueberry!  ブルーベリー～！

うわーおいしそーーー！！旅行までフリーザーに入れておきます。Smells great!  I will put in the freezer until we go!

もちろん味見は欠かせません！今年作ったラズベリージャムと毎日クロービスが食べるマーマレード、そしてオーガニックバレーのクリームチーズと共に！お家で作るの楽しいなー。それに材料も全部オーガニックだけど安上がり！ But of course we taste them with my home made raspberry jam and marmalade. Of course Organic Valley Cream cheese! It is fun to make bagel and ingredients are all Organic!

 これ、小食のフィンに食欲を増してもらうために買っちゃいました！今のところ効果あり！いつまで続くかなー。We bought those for Finn to make him eat more and so far it is working!

キイは毎日私達の食べてるところみてほんと食べたそーな顔をします。食べたいのかなー。後ちょっとね！Kii always watch us eating he seems like ready to eat something!!

ちらかる毎日 Messy house

 毎日片づけても片づけても散らかる我が家。最近はちょっとずつお掃除を覚えてきたフィンはママのお手伝い？！のつもり。Cleaning never ends at Finn's house. Sometimes he thinks he is helping cleaning.

朝一番にすることはダディーと追いかけっこかくれんぼ。これ、自分なりに隠れてるつもり。そして散らかりモードはここからすでにスタートしているのです。Early in the morning he gets up first and wakes us up. Daddy and Finn comes down stair and play hide and seek. Finn doko? doko?(doko is where in Japanese) He thinks he is hiding. Now you already see our house is getting messy.
 
泥んこになって遊んでもダディーと毎日お風呂入ってきれいきれい。 たまにキイも仲間入り。あ～来年はもっと散らかる日々になるのかなー。３ボーイズ達との生活じゃ、避けられないなー。ま、楽しいしいっかー! The end of the day Daddy and Finn take a bath together. Sometimes Kii join them too. I guess next year hour house will be even messier. Well life with 3 boys is supper fun I guess I just keep cleaning!!

秋一番！ハイキング！ The first fall family hiking!

 秋 に突入したウィスコンシン。木々がところどころ紅葉してきた。ちょっとこ寒いけどとってもいいお天気だったので４人でキカプーへハイキングに出かけること に！It's fall in Wisconsin. We decided go hiking at Kickapoo!

ベ イビーキイはバックパックに入れて！わーいもうこれ、使えるようになった！うれしいなーこれでいろんなところにハイキングいけるぞーー！めったにカメラに 向かって顔を作ってくれないフィンがポーズしてる！ Kii in a backpack! Wow we can use this backpack already! Now we can go hiking more and more!! I like Finn being cute for a picture taking which doesn't happen so often.
 
ダ ディーにしょわれて周りの木々を楽しんでるキイ。木偉はほんとに木を眺めるのが好き。Kii was enjoying watching trees all the way!! He really loves to see trees. His name Kii means a great tree it's perfect!

フィ ンは驚くほどたっくさん歩きました。１時間は歩いたかなー。しかも上り坂たっぷり。We are so amazed that how much Finn can walk! We probably hiked over one hour!! We didn't have to carry him at all!!
 
中になに入ってんのかなーWhat's in there??!!

わーい！今度は木のトンネルだーーー！a Tunnel!!

所々のオレンジや黄色が太陽に当たってほんときれい！Orange, red yellow! It's so beautiful especially with sun shine!

 ファミリーハイキング！だーいすき！We love each other and we love hiking!

秋のイベント！Threshing Bee at Norskedalen

 ノルウェーからの移民の多いこの地域にはノルウェーミュージアムがあります。毎年この時期にはコーンの昔の収穫方法(Threshing Bee)を披露してくれるイベントがあるので行ってきました！http://www.norskedalen.org/　Norskedalen Threshing Bee!

 コーン全体を機械にかけるとコーンの部分と葉っぱ茎の部分が分かれるようになっています。一昔前まではこのようなやりかたで収穫してました。ダディー、それは食べるコーンじゃないよーーー！Yum yum, Daddy it's not for eating!!

 これ、全部手作りでめっちゃくちゃ小さなモーターを作ったおじさんがミニチュアバージョンのヘイベールを作ってます。あ！向こうからはホースワゴンが！This gentleman made the tiny engine. It can make tiny hey bales!!  Look, a horse wagon is coming!

 アルパカだー！かわいいなー！Alpaca! So cute!!

ノルウェーの人たちがやってきた当時のお家が再現されてます。なんか、グランマジェーンのお家みたい。ノルウェー料理のラフさをデモンストレーションしてくれました。ジャガイモと小麦粉で作るトルティーヤですねー。バターをたっぷりつけて頂きます！これがメキシコやグアテマラになるとコーンや小麦粉のトルティーヤ。所変わってもみんな同じようなアイディア。This is a old Norwegian house. It just looks like grandma Jane's house though!

これ実はミニチュア 。すごい、全部手作り。It's just amazing. It's all hand made!



 
ランチメニューはローストビーフに付け合わせはコーンに蕪のようなゆで野菜、グレービーをたっぷりかけて！ デザートはアップルチェリーパイ! Roasted beef, potatoes with gravy. Nice winter lunch! We had fun!!

ジョニージャンプアップ Johnny Jump up

ベイビーキーは４カ月半。でも９カ月の服でぴったり。でかい！Baby Kii is 4 and half month but he is wearing 9 month old cloth!

ジョニージャンプアップをセットしてみたいよ。これ、とってもいいベイビーシッター。We set up Johnny jump up! I've been waiting for this it is very good baby sitter!

兄弟でおもちゃ Sharing toys

 毎朝、フィンとダディーはキッチンに一足先にいって朝ご飯を用意してくれます。今日はベイビーキーも仲間入り。フィンはキイにおもちゃを持ってきたり使い方を教えてあげたりしてすっかりよいお兄ちゃん！Every morning daddy and Finn goes to the kitchen and make breakfast. Kii joined this time. Finn brought some toys for Kii and showed how to use them. He is a very good big brother!

これが電車のおもちゃとなるとわけが違います。 かしてかしてーーー　だめだめ、これは僕のーーーBut, once comes to his train, it is a different story. Go Kii Go!

お！！ベイビーキーフレイトカー（貨車）を借りることに成功！トーマス機関車の中ではフレイトカーはいつも意地悪役。あーそれでかーー！Yes! Baby Kii got a train! I see he has a freight car. If you know the Thomas the train you know why Kii can get a freight car! right?! Yes, they are always mean!!
